What is the Local Shack? Simple. A hangout with good old-fashioned service with good old-fashioned prices. Well, that’s not it. We also know you, that is if you are a local indeed.

Story

The Local Shack began at 418 Murray Street Perth in 2010. It started as a humble bar and grill that offered unique infused vodkas and specialty burgers at a fraction of the competitor’s price. Value for money and something for everyone was our objective and motivation.

Fast forward 6 years and The Local Shack has evolved into a restaurant chain of 5 venues with a greater menu involving all day breakfast, salads, steak, chicken parmi, desserts, coffee, beer, cocktails and our famous specialty burgers.

We have memorable childhood games on each table, such as Guess Who, Jenga, Chess, Connect Four and After Eight games – to bring back quality time with families.

The Local Shack supports local and fresh produce with majority of our ingredients sourced locally.

The Local Shack is featured in mainly suburbs as opposed to entertainment precincts – to be “your local”.

We are here on holidays from Darwin and have been dining at the local shack over the past couple of weeks and have to say that Harmony our beautiful waitstaff member has just been amazing! She is so optimistic and always helpful and we have felt so much at home! Amazing job lovely lady you made this spot a favourite of ours!

Amazing food! Prices were fantastic for dining in Scarborough, great atmosphere with fake grass. Board games and other fun features of the place!

Decided to get out with they kids and grab a bite to eat. The staff were really friendly. The food came super quick, and was so yummy. Even the kids pigged out. Will definitely go again and recommend

Came here with a large group of friends for a late brunch/early lunch and loved the homemade waffles! The waffles were super crisp and tasty and very good value all round! Staff were friendly and accomodating added extra maple syrup for free! plus board games and milkshakes were a welcome addition.

After a busy day on the beach I can confidently say that this place is the best place for a quick but good feed,, shout out to the waitress Harmony.. her service was second to none! 11/10

Awesome friendly staff, food come out 5 mins after ordered, and good food.

Food was great, but even better was the amazing customer service from Harmony, who made us feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the time we were here. Big ups
