We found this place by luck, and weren’t disappointed at all. We went this place for brekki and no booking was required. We had the buffet and it was terrific. The food items were fresh, lot on offer and very very good service.. The price was fair too and our little one got in for free as Xmas discount, a very nice gesture. The two ladies/ waitress on duty were very humble and so caring. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. The view was spectacular.
I read reviews about the breakfast here being really nice. The male staff at the entrance today didn’t seem to be in a mood to greet The food here is fairly standard, nothing special. We had a standard English breakfast. The fruit was mostly melons. The honeydew was raw , peaches, pears and apricots preserved. Fruit juice canned. The mushrooms and rhubarb were great. There was a good selection of baked items. The best thing I had at breakfast was a great cuppa tea.
Had a great experience dining here for a birthday dinner. The table right by the window has such an amazing view of the resort do book in advance and ask for the table as it's worth it. The lamb shoulder was very small which was disappointing but the New York baked cheese cake definitely redeemed itself. Highly recommend coming here for dinner one night. The prices are reasonable for Hunter Valley and the 3 course menu is to go for
The atmostphere was just comfortable for buffet breakfast. Staf was courteous and offered to us for ordering tea and coffee individually. Harsh brown was freshly cooked with all the potato flavour inside the crunchy crust. Pouched eggs was nice and cooked to the right softness. Staff at the bar was friendly and helpful to fill up our water bottle with boiling water so that we could spend it over our return trip home.
Being located in the hunter valley wine region you’re going to be catering to people with an eye for detail with food. In my experience the service, quality & delivery of paid restaurant meals was average. The buffet breakfast we experienced the next morning was substantially under par in all of these areas too. My comments would be to lift the standard of the dining significantly & your reviews will in turn elevate. I would not be interested in returning based on my experience here & I would take the extra effort to avoid the convenience & dine elsewhere.
Extremely friendly wait staff who constantly looked after us. Food was amazing and views outside were lovely. Would definitely come again.
At first glance I was a bit skeptical of the price for the selection in the menu but I was certainly wrong. Every dish presented was superb! The soft shell crab was “soft” and lightly salted and the steak was to die for! The 1/2 corn fed chicken was certainly a treat and highly recommended! Hats off to the fantastic waiters and chefs
Good food, good people, great place and atmosphere. Staff were really easy to deal with - Courtney, Jason and Sam just to name a few. Thanks for a great hunter experience
Delicious food, wonderful staff really friendly and make time to uvae a chat. Wide range of alcoholic drinks though no Bailey's Food: 5/5
Absolutely amazing food. The Wagyu entree and the beef tenderloin were highlights. Service was great. Would definitely recommend.
