This is the best Fish and Chip place in all of Queensland. Fish are so fresh that you swear there is a trawler nearby. Service with not just a smile but the warmth of community love that draws me in every Friday after work. Ample parking, on average big lines indicating the very best food and service and the people that run the Krusty Krab, I can't be more thankful for their excellence in customer service. Worth the pilgrimage from anywhere in Brisbane for this food.
Ordered fish n chips and a hot dog. The fish n chips was sound. But i've never seen a hot dog made like this before. The sausage tasted dehydrated. It was awful. Instead of the traditional long bun that the sausage normally comes in, the sausage was sliced in half and put in to a bun. No love and no 5 star rating from me.
I was hungry and decided to go to the krusty krab, I ordered their famous krabby patty and the cashier was very rude, he was playing his clarinet terribly and it was so bad my eardrums fell out my ear. The manager was very eager to take my 3 dollars, dont know why. The fry cook was kind though, and a bit annoying i must admit, but the food was great, best sandwich I've ever tasted!
I haven't seen the most racist people here in Australia than those two old ladies serving the food. So disgusted to see there's still people like this around our community. These two old ladies should be banned from working here any more
Enjoyed fish and chips takeaway from here last night. Large pieces of fish, well cooked chips and a serve of calamari. Always good quality, good, fast service and reasonable prices. Will definitely return.
Good quality seafood with fair price. The place was a bit dirty, take away would be a better option.
Not too bad. Had the meal for one. Was good size and the chips were nice and crunchy. Little bit on the high size of pricing especially when you throw in a drink. Was a bit oily but still very eatable. Friendly service. Nice area out the front to seat and eat.
it was pretty good but the octopus cashier was really rude and pretentious and he kept talking about his clarinet.
I was really disappointed when I drove 8 hours and visited this place. I went to visit my friends, and while we talking about plans for the day, I mentioned that it would be nice to go have food out and hang out. If I'm being honest, my friends rarely leave the house so this was a nice chance to pick somewhere to eat and convince them that being out is fun. I searched for places to eat at and found this place, I thought it was really cool because of what its named; The Krusty Krab. I'm a massive fan of SpongeBob, but I dont think that he makes the best food, or even good food. The place was really dirty and dusty and was a very messy place. Food took forever to be cooked and delivered and one of the lighting structures were broken and was flashing which almost caused my friend to have an epilepsy attack. I saw a few cockroaches around the place, and the food came with a few hairs in the food. At the point of actually eating the food, we politely gave the food back and told them that we weren't coming back. As we were leaving the employees were laughing menacingly, and insulted us. I don't recommend this place and if I could I would give it no stars at all.
We have just moved to the area and ordered take away from the Krusty Krab and it was fantastic. Lovely fresh fish and wonderful not stringy calamari. We’ll definitely be back.
