Best Fish and Chip shop! The staff are always friendly and efficient. Food is fantastic! I love that this is a small family owned business too. Support local!! For those who complain about the price. For goodness sakes. EVERYTHING is expensive now. Just like your electricity and food bills going up, so would theirs and their suppliers would be increasing costs and staff wages! Give them a break. I will pay their prices as they deserve it. Thank you for a lovely dinner.
Terrible, terrible, terrible !!! Very bad experience. Wife ordered 3 takeaway plates of meat at $28.50, and pointed to the menu board, to be collected later that afternoon. We sent the daughter to collect and pay, but Kingfisher Blue took $350.00 by credit card, and said that was the order. Food was way over supplied, not as ordered. When went back for explanation, manager couldn't care. No help at all. We're not going back, nor my family, friends etc. Left with a very bad taste in my mouth. Long time local resident WHEELERS HILL

I've put a lot of thought and consideration in posting this Scathing review. 0/5 Stars!! I Have been a loyal patron of TKFB since 2019 when I moved in to the local area, the food has always been *fine but the service hit and miss with incorrect orders and occasionally short changed, but look mistakes can and will happen I can accept that, however what I witnessed a few nights ago made me feel sick to my stomach so much so I'll never go back. While I was waiting for my order along with several others a man approx 40 years old enters the shop, he looked to be soaking wet was raining heavily that day he was noticeably shivering cold, he lined up and waited his turn, a junior female approx 16-17yo serves the man who quietly asks how much minimum chips were to which the girl replied $6.00 the man politely asked if she could do possibly do $3.00 worth as that's all the money he had and was starving for a hot meal, standing there shivering in front of this girl she coldly replied, no sorry $5.00 is the best we can do and CAN'T DO ANY LESS. The clearly dejected man quitely pleads with the girl tells her how much he'd appreciate it just this once, however less than moved by his plea she coldly replies this time with increased volume for the entire shop to hear, "Like I said "There's nothing we can do" which is complete and utter garbage and anyone older than 30 will remember not that long ago when minimum chips was only $1 and you'd get a good helping for that dollar. $6.00 is outrageous for min chips! What disgusted me even more was after this starving demoralised man had left the shop with his head hung low the young girl along with some of the senior male staff laughed the whole thing off making tasteless snide jokes under their breath, I wasn't the only customer to witness this disgusting treatment of a fellow human being. Soon as my order number was called I had a quick look around the shopping centre car park but was unable to find him, undoubtedly embarrassed by his extreme financial predicament and then having what little pride demolished by a high school girl in front of a shop full of customers I don't blame him making a hasty exit not wanting to be seen. The girl didn't even bother asking her boss if they could do $3 worth chips on this occasion, clearly the man was in need of a hot meal and only had $3.00 in change. For a busy successful and profitable business to look someone less fortunate dead in the eyes and say no sorry there's "Nothing we can do" instead of telling him the truth "No mate not interested Kingfisher Blue is not a charity and we have NO interest in giving back to those less fortunate individuals in our community despite having profited off the community for years. Where's the humanity in 2023? When did we become so greedy and cold?? He wasn't asking for free food, he simply asked for less than $6.00 worth that he could pay for. This was inexcusable and really exposed the ugly side of the individuals working that evening. To be fair, I don't know if the owner was physically present that evening or if he was a privy to this particular incident. Id really like to think not.

once ordered but extremely disappointed. ordered hamburger, fish fillet and chips. firstly they gave me food box excluding hamburgers and I head home. then I have to return again to pick hamburgers. secondly hamburgers are burned but their angry boss said no no it is not burned, eat it like that. very terrible attitude and customer service. I recommend to learn customer service first then cook food for people. I don't recommend even try once.

Just perfect the food was perfect and most of all the cute 15 year old boy with curly dark brown hair cut to a perfect mullet with the cutest smile ever. With the hottest and veiniest arms ever OMG he was perfect. Love this store and the boy <3
