salt and pepper squid was great, the beef schnitzel not so much. sitting outside was lovely but the noise from the street was incredibly loud. also no staff came out to take plates, check on the meals etc until we were leaving and had to go in and find a staff member

I can't recommend this place enough... date night for myself and hubby to be.. and it was our first ever time here.nnAs soon as we walked in, there was a welcoming vibe and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we entered. The dining room was timeless and modern, we loved the gin bottle decor, we then checked out the beer garden and it looked amazing. Can't wait to have a drink out there at some stage.nnThe meals were tasty, beef schnitzel and chicken schnitzel were ordered and we honestly couldn't fault a thing.nnMy birthday is in a couple weeks and we will be attending again with some friends in tow.nnOur date nights are rare, but this place made it memorable...

Great local pub with great ambience, delicious food and a wine list that supports local producers. Eat here about once a fortnight and never had a bad meal. Portion size is also value for money. Recommend for catch ups with friends

Been coming here for some time, usually very good.nMeal yesterday was not good at all. My Wife and I sat at table 65 outside and ordered 2 battered fish with salad and chips.nChips were perfect and crunchy, salad was nothing ..... too much dry lettuce with no dressing, 1/2 a small tomato and a slice of cucumber ..... fish was battered but not crispy and was tasteless. But as usual, service was great by the young staff.
