We attended Floriade and to round things off, we had lunch at The Jetty. Plenty of tables with a nice view of the lake.nAlso dog friendly.
Drinks, especially the thickshake, were pretty good. However, the Portuguese egg tart and Cannoli were terrible. They were soggy and soft. In fact, the Portuguese egg tart had drops of water when I took it out from the bag note: we ate it immediately after being served. It was completely unedible and bland like it was frozen and reheated texture. I'm not sure if it was just the batch we had, but my wife and I threw them away after 2 bites. So go for the drinks but stay away from the food or pastry.
Been here a couple of times on the weekends. Once when the little Burley markets were on also. Great atmosphere for anyone visiting Canberra. The food is very basic but tasty.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Amazing atmosphere, beautiful location, and the coffee was some of the best we’ve had in Canberra. The staff seemed to know all their regulars and they were so kind and went above and beyond for us. The undercover area was perfect for our family as we were able to enjoy our coffee out of the Canberra cold and there was plenty of seating. This is our new favourite spot on the lake and we will definitely be back!!
