Deep fried food is cooked in rice bran oil, fish can also be crumbed or grilled. Tables and chairs are available outside where your takeaway meal can be enjoyed with a view to the fisherman's jetty and the sunset. Chanced upon this absolute gem at Kalbarri. Service was fantastic, staff was extremely helpful. If you are in Kalbarri, this is a place you must visit!  Please order the scallop, prawns and squid, regret not getting more!  100% recommend this for the Indian Ocean Drive!

Really yum fish and chips! Had the rankin cod and it was super tasty. Fairly quick service on a busy night and definitely worth the wait. Chips are excellent too.

Absolutely great fish and chips! Having worked in a fish and chip shop I set the bar high but the batter was great and serving generous for the quality. Don't complain about the price if you want fresh Australian fish as that's just what it costs.

Absolute brilliant service. Great fish. Cooked and ready quickly. Lovely gold band snapper ... locally caught. Open Wednesdays  when many others are closed. Generous serves. Great price for what you get. If going to kalbarri ... don't miss this restaurant... thanks guys.

Disappointed with the meal tonight. Ordered the beef and fish burger with chips whole end of a tomato in the fish burger. Fish taste funky and the burger smelt. Meat was chewy in the beef burger. Only eatable item to the whole meal was the chips, they were good  We had to throw the rest of the meal away, a waste of $53.

Fish was good but measly with the chips.  Spanish Mackerel was good, as were the prawns and scallops but for close to $70 I expected more than a handful of chips. There was barely enough for the few of us, a handful and a half at best.  What is it with Kalbarri fish and chip places and being stingy with the chips?

Great food. Not too much batter and good quality seafood. Chips a bit soft for me but overall a great place for Fish and Chips. Service was excellent.

Great fish and chips. Quick service. Very popular spot. Shame it is not on the water - but then no place in Kalbarri is on the water. But close to a nice kids playground just across the road.

Good fresh fish, great chips and a really good veggie burger!

Very good and reasonably priced. $5 chips & 2 Spanish Mackerel $12 each was a great meal after a long day in a great location. It’s a busy period in Kalbarri atm, we ordered just before 8 and revived earlier than expected. Portion size was suitable for us and it was cooked correctly well drained. Eaten on the tables out side clean and tidy area was a great idea at this time of year.
