Great stop in Newtown. We got 3 different types of pasta sauces with our pasta and they were all very good. Dishes came out hot and they have a great kitchen routine as well had to wait less than 10mins for our food. The only downside was there was way too much! We left with a bag full of leftovers as it was impossible to finish. Would highly recommend
I’ve been visiting Italian Bowl for almost 6 years now and I still love it every single time! nnHands down one of the best places to enjoy pasta The flavours are always rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced The pasta is cooked just right, the sauces are full of flavour, and you can really taste the freshness in every bite nnThe quality has been consistent over the years, which is rare and so appreciated The portions are generous and always satisfying!nnIf you’re a pasta lover, this place never disappoints Highly recommended and I’ll definitely keep coming back!
very average meal here. Very traditionally Italian which I appreciate, and convenient for a filling meal. Two meals and one garlic bread amounted to about $60 which seems to be super common around Sydney in general, but for nothing incredible it seems a bit much. When you’re packing that many people into a restaurant and having a really quick turn around, I would think that it would provide a cheaper and convenient option. Overall, nothing special.
The pasta is authentic and each one freshly tailored cooked. The taste is right to the point. Not too salty and creamy enough. We had the carbonara and gnocchi pesto of which both were delicious. The staff are friendly.
The food was good and the service was attentive and friendly. However, the tiramisu was disappointing — it tasted mostly like cream and lacked the classic coffee and mascarpone balance. Overall, it’s a nice place with a good atmosphere, but in my opinion, a bit overpriced for what you get.
