Way way way better than little India . Good food , good service .

Great place to dine. From the Lunch menu we had the lamb and Dahl. It would be nice to balance the proportions. More sauce. Too much rice and little bowl of sauce. I found it too small. I'm happy to pay a bit more to have a feeling that I get abundance of food. Overall the flavours were great. Cheers

Very good Indian restaurant, enjoyed the the chicken vindaloo very much! Friendly and hospitable personnel. When again in Nelson will certainly come back to The Indian Cafe!

Delicious curry and good value for money. Staff were very accommodating of allergy issues in our party.

Good quality Indian food in nice surroundings. Staff very friendly, a pleasant place to dine for all the family. Only down side, the Indian dishes are all very "Kiwi". Can be very mild for my taste, even if you ask them to make your food hot it's still a wee bit too mild for me.

Food was good but the service was slake my friends and I were waiting nearly 2 hours to get are food we had to go and ask them wheres houre food

Wow! Highly recommend the banquet, $27 per person and got absolutely treated to so very delicious entrees, mains and desserts.  Excellent waitress too who was very helpful even for the baby at our table. Looking forward to coming back.
