Long time customer at The Iconic. If they send the items you actually order, it's fine. If ANYTHING at all goes wrong, the customer service is legitimately a nightmare to deal with. Be prepared for low level customer service representatives who are barely literate, and will not be able to solve even basic issues. Most recently, a delivery partner sent half the items they were meant to. The Iconic rep told me I would need to return all the items before they could send out the missing ones. Why? No explanation; they created the return for all the items in the order including the missing ones! on my behalf without even asking. How am I meant to return the items missing from the order??? They said sending missing order items was "not normal process". I refused the return and asked again that they send the missing items. They ended they chat by saying they would have to escalate the issue to the "Leadership Team". It's not rocket science. Just send the items you failed to send the first time. But no, apparently even that is beyond their customer service reps.
I made my Christmas gift order on 28 Nov 2022, and I still have not received anything. I will get on a flight to the US in 2 days and the Christmas gifts to my friends in the US are still missing and unable to locate??? Can anyone address this other than an automated response via online chat? I placed orders with other online shops at the same time, all of them are capable to deliver on time. Hey Iconic, if you cannot deliver then do not sell online anymore, there are many online shops who offers better services and products out there.
Wost customers service ever!!!! NO ONE follow up the issue, which has been raised for more than a week, didn't pass on the information of delivery address to their partner provider, so the parcel got lost in the air, cannot be delivered and also was not kept in any austrlia post office for waiting for collection. Then when I simply asked for refund, they couldn't do it, cause have to wait for them to get respond from the pattern provider regards to returning the parcel. That's their problem with the partner provider, how come the customer has to wait for them to sort out their own mistakes then can get refund. Just doesn't make sense. Like the the customer has to pay for their mistakes. It is very disappointing!!! Firstly no respond from the customer service team after they said they will follow up the issue. Secondly, when the customer ask for a simple refund due to their mistakes, they cannot proceed. Because they need to fix their mistakes first, customer need to wait to get refunded. "What a great service!" Isn't should be the other way around? Solve the problem for the customer first then sort out your own mistakes
This business is a complete joke and a waste of time. I ordered an item and it was sent out with the wrong address. Not my fault - I gave The Iconic my correct address. The item was returned to sender. Ok, so I needed to ask them to send it back out. This time with the right address. Not ideal, but forgivable. But when I asked them to resend the item - via web chat, because, of course, you can't call - they said they had resolved my issue by issuing a refund. Now, the item is out of stock in my size, and the sales are over, so I would have to pay 40 percent more than I originally paid to buy it again. And even though my item is in their warehouse, having just been sent back to them, they say they can't help me. Dealing with The Iconic has been a disappointment and a complete waste of time. The Iconic have literally given me no choice but to buy from somewhere else. This business is incompetent, has a dumb policy regarding items that are returned to sender, and annoying customer service that cannot resolve a simple problem. Zero stars.
Ordered 2 pairs of swim shorts 2/3/23 from The Iconic. Order never arrived in time for 10/3/23 despite being told delivery would be 8/3/23. Called Australia Post who confirmed the order was never sent. Called the Iconic who said it would take several days to get back to me with an update. Terrible experience. Never again.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Spent $1800 in one order and part of the order was to be delivered the next day. There was a glitch in the system and the staff said it had mistakenly been put on standard delivery instead of express. Customer experience was appalling, no attempt was made by staff to rectify the issue when it could have easily been adjusted, they just didn't bother and said too bad you have to wait.
Can't get a hold of anyone to speak about anything regarding an account issue. Live chat should be renamed "dead chat" as it couldn't help find your way out of a one way street. Email, nobody gets back to you and then there is no phone number!! Absolutely useless!!
Delivery and discount system is fine. Whoever is responsible for sizing and information on the web site do the worse job. TOTAL MISLEADING AND OFTEN NOT TRUE OR NOTHING TO DO WITH SIZES OF A BRAND
While the website and app make it simple and easy to fill a basket and purchase your items, the fulfillment and delivery of your order will take longer than what you think even if you pay for postage so it delivered between certain dates. Customer service and customer experience is less-than-ideal.
Delivery doesn’t arrive on time even if you pay for it because they only packed your order and had it shipped at 11pm the night before it was meant to be delivered. A lot of my deliveries got “lost” in transit too for weeks and there was little to no support other than “we apologise”. Used to be great and delivery used to be next day and super quick but has and is going downhill so quickly. Sale prices are still expensive for what the product is and brand range is limited.
