Went here to check out the Eavesdropping exhibition the other day. The space was amazing, as was the art. It's a free museum, but the quality is definitely not lacking. Absolutely would recommend seeing Eavesdropping while it's still being showed there. Will definitely come back to look at other exhibitions here.
Free and very fascinating. Very easy to get lost here. It's a bit of a maze. Plenty of different art exhibits. Just behind Federation square.
The museum is small. They are going expand and renovate soon and going to reopen in April 2020
Very diverse collection full of interesting things to explore. Usually quiet and peaceful, entry is free so great place to wander even just for an hour. Quite a nice collection. I enjoyed the glass objects
Small but present great exhibitions! and not too busy to enjoy the art.
Free access and interesting events changing frequently every 3 months
Attended special event on Saturday 17 November for a viewing of the spectacular Leckie Window pictured below at the Ian Potter Museum of Art at Melbourne University Parkville with commentary by Geoffrey Wallace and Bronwyn Hughes.
A small but excellent little museum of modern art. Often has very interesting exhibitions
