Didn't expect the atmosphere inside the restaurant just looking at the external pics. Lovely restaurant, tasty food and really good customer service. Food prices are reasonable, but I thought Roti pricing was a little above the board. However, we all had a good evening with awesome 50-60's instrumental Hindi movie songs playing in the background.
First time ordering here. We will definitely go back! Fast and friendly service. Very decent portion sizes. The prices are a bit above average, but it's worth it. Nepalese chilli chicken was a bit salty, but maybe it's supposed to be like this?. We forgot to request spicy, so maybe that could've changed the taste. Beef vindaloo was really tasty. Our son said one of the best butter chickens he's ever had. Roti was a bit dry. Very good. Definitely recommend!
Marking 4 Start as there is no option for 3.5nnWe Ordered takeaway Nepali Fish Curry, Chicken Chow Mein Noodle and 2 Garlic Naan for $45.nnVery First Impression: Expensive!nGarlic Naan: $4 each – Decent size, certainly not small or thin. Would give it 3Stars as I have had better and cheaper Garlic Naans elsewhere.nNepali Fish Curry – Expensive at $19.50. This one is different from the ones I have tried at other Indian restaurants. Nice thick gravy. Not as tangier as a Kerala Fish curry gravy. Good number of fish chunks as you will see in the pic, but not soft or flaky.nGood but not Great.nCHICKEN CHOW MEIN Indo Chinese – Expensive at $17.50.nNice thick, Noodles with spicy chunky pieces of chicken and vegetables in a bigger takeaway box but not filled to 100%.nI personally liked this. My kids did not. Probably because it didn’t taste the same as other Indo Chinese chow mein they are used to.nI won’t mind ordering more of Chow Mein if the price were reasonable.nnOverall, Different from other Indian restaurants, but I expect more for the price.
Loved it. Got it for takeaway during lunch and was really impressed with the quality and taste. The lady was so lovely and even recommended a curry for me which was great!nI will eat in next time.
I recently ordered chicken momos from this restaurant via the Uber Eats app, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Despite the expensive price of $22.5 for just 8 pieces, the quality fell short in multiple aspects. Firstly, the momo wrap was undercooked, with a halfway-done texture and poorly wrapped, leaving the top layer too tough to chew because it wasn't steamed enough. The sauce that came with it wasn't good either. Overall, for the price paid, the lack of quality and taste make this a regrettable choice.
