I am a kind of a nature guy. And NZ has an Amazing nature. I love it so much. The Netherlands is different. I love mountains and hills. Flat country is OK but this is way better. Love the forests beaches and open country. So much to explore. Unfortunately I had only 2 weeks off with my job. So. So many things to do in such a short time. But Iove I and I enjoy it very much. I'll definitely mis Nz when I'm back. Like home sickness Sucha beautifull country. I really recommend to travelers and tourists.

I was in The Hub Information Centre Town Basin Whangarei and served by  Courtney, I was asking about accommodation, the time table and the bus ticket from Whangarei to Auckland, she's amazing, her service is superb, very patient, polite and professional. Thank you very much for your great service and well done Courtney. You deserve a big STAR.

Maggie and Saehee were so helpful and kind! The best bus station and info point in the world - plus it links to the art gallery. Just brilliant.

Very empty store to what I was expecting. The other half of the store seems to be promoting an artist. Free maps and tourist information. No free WiFi. Felt like we were being watched by staff who didn't approach us for help.

The staff and facilities are excellent. We are a group of 11 people travelling long distance looking for a rest area and this is ideal. Thanks to the whangarei district council.

Trying to get by bus from Whangarei to Auckland. Went in two days ago to buy tickets and given the run around with information, didn't end up buying tickets as staff weren't very pro active about just selling us the tickets, advised that fares are approx $45 for two people on Mana Bus but "cheaper if you pay the bus driver cash". Not fussed about cheaper fares however turned up on day and due to website being glitchy via phone prior - tried to buy tickets again to be told couldn't buy tickets so close to bus trip and would have to pay driver cash. Driver advised cash price of tickets to be approx $70 for two tickets which we didn't have on us due to flying out that eve and being initially poorly advised on price. Terrible service overall.

It's nice that they are trying to pull people into the middle of town, it's a good drop off location, however there are still two information centres which can be very confusing at times... I tried to pick someone up from the information centre in the Hub, and it turns out their bus dropped them off at the old one.

Nicely located, clean facilities, friendly staff. For all your travel and accommodation requirements in the Far North... these are the team you need to see...

Went to catch bus to Auckland. There is so much to do nearby that waiting half an hour was no problem.

Very helpful staff passionate to share all the great things about Whangārei.
