It's like loaded fries, but with baked potatoes. Would be nicer if baked without the jackets and with a crispy skin.Food: 4/5
A nice surprise , went there with my partner for the first time ever and it was amazing.The portions for the price are much larger than expected with a single meal being enough for a single person for lunch and dinner and the food tastes good. Value for money is very good and I will come back here regularly.
House of Spuds has been my fave go-to spot for over 10 years. Moved to Melbs about 8 years ago and searched for a place that compared to HoS. I never found one and I never shut up about HoS, telling everyone I met about it in hopes they knew some secret magical spot. Currently on holidays back in Tassie and it is JUST as INCREDIBLE as I remember. Never change HoS! The absolute BEST SPUDS YOU'VE EVER HAD!!!!! Just one of the many can't-beat-it reasons I will be moving back to Tassie asap! Oh and my brothers dog enjoyed the scraps just as much as me!
Would give no stars if i could they never answer phone they offer delivery with menulog but never have it turned on so you can order dont offer delivery if it is not going to be always on
Very dissapointed. I ordered the farmhouse; the onion and bacon in it appeared to be microwaved and it was generally really unpleasant. The potato itself was lovely though. With so many options on the menu inevitably there will be the need for pre prepared food as opposed to fresh that day. It's definitely nowhere near as good, fresh and tasty as Praties. I also got three desserts cakes. No indication of when made or use by date. Again, did not taste fresh. The customer service was lovely, it's unfortunately the food itself that's a let down. Hopefully it improves with an emphasis on fresh and tasty.

Great service from the staff and a variety of meals for you to choose from, if you like spuds then I hope that it will be as enjoyable as the ones that I have eaten from here plus there is a good selection of dessert options to choose from.
I wish I could give 0 stars! Absolutely repulsive. Ordered the farmhouse and it was all watered down onion and no potato slop. Absolute waste of money and will never order again. This establishment has really gone down hill. Yuck!
