I hadn't played golf for 15 years due to a series of back operations. After playing a couple of rounds I decided to drop in and get some advice on a new driver that would best suit where my game and physical condition is right now. I was blown away by the friendliness of the guys and the time and effort they put into helping me out.
I was made to feel more than welcome, nothing was too much trouble. I spent time on the state of the art simulator where time was not an issue in finding the best cub for me.
Needless to say I left with something that I was very happy with and won't be going anywhere else for my golf gear or advice. Thanks heaps guys.

Both good and bad.
Had a club fitting and went for a bit shorter than expected while also having their equipment break down a few times. I'm not a novice but not an expert so I would have liked a bit more insight into why specific clubs were chosen for me. A bit of a sore point is that when placing the order I was promised an hour free lesson. Upon picking up the clubs nothing was mentioned so I've assumed it was just an empty promise. The clubs themselves are going ok but haven't seen a huge improvement in my game. Feeling sold down a river

Have been a previous Drummond golf supporter and purchasing my goods from them.
Today that has all changed.
Went in the store to discuss swing weights regarding my Mizuno Mp54's.
The facilities here are awesome. The staff were soo willing to help and spend as much time answering all questions and didnt make myself feel like my questions were annoying even though im sure they have answered them plenty times before. They have all stock you can want and anything you dont see they can have ordered in. 
When i go into Drummond golf, they are friendly and helpful however not always but sometimes ive gone into the store and felt "passively" edged/pushed into making a purchase. The people here whilst im sure have sale targets did not push me into any purchases. 
I feel sometimes drummond golf really know their catalogue's very well and the description of an item based on what the internet says (sometiems you get someone who knows what they are saying)
However here - ideas were bouncing back and forth and when i was telling the store person my thoughts and experiences and what i wanted he would adapt and suggest, then when i would say ive tried something similar and had certain results he was ontop of it and understood what i meant, bringing on his own personal experience from Competition level golf and knowledge and re-suggested. Rather than sticking to his guns and trying to convince me into the golf ball he had in mind. We went from Taylormade to Bridgestone to Mizuno and i come from a Taylormade tour preffered X  golf ball.
It was a really friendly and fun experience where i feltt the conversation was had to enlighten and help with sale being last thought on mind rather than enlighten to what the box description would suggest them to say (if anything im saying makes sence) haha
And we even discussed golf courses and grass type haha
In the end i did make a purchase simply due to the friendly nature of what was going on.
I was given a generous discount which has only made the experience above and beyond.
I was served by Nathan (in store) and Rob (club fitter/club designer)
