We have been coming here for the past year and intend to for more years to come and have nothing but good things to say about our teacher, this school and Greg who runs it. Greg runs the school with a knowledgeable, modest and accommodating manner. My kids love their classes, the atmosphere is great with a friendly and extra patient teacher especially for my younger one. They benefit most by taking back what they’ve learnt during class home, to practice on a regular basis ahead of their next class. We are so glad to have found this school and went with it as our first choice!
I have sent my both sons to the Hills Shire Music school for violin lessons. Shirene is great violin teacher and also very passionate about her teachings. She is an enthusiastic and patient teacher, especially for my little one. Greg is also really helpful and always available when we need him.
Its been 6years that both of my kids are taking their music lessons at this place. My son is doing a drum lesson and he is currently about to take Grade 7 exam and my daughter also enjoy her each piano lesson. Its a great place whether you want to pursue a serious learning for music or if you want to have fun while also learning it. They got a lot of great teachers, best equipments and Greg is also attentive to each of the student. Highly recommended.
Only have good things to say about everyone at Hills Shire Music School. Jacob is a great Drumming teacher and communicates well with regard to progress, upcoming lesson expectations and homework. All lessons are always on time, and online classes/make-up lessons are offered in special circumstances. Greg is always available, professional and organized. 5+ stars!
We have been coming to the Hills Shire Music School for the past five years. I live locally and needed a school close by. I rang Greg and after chatting to him over the phone, I immediately enrolled my two daughters, one for piano and one for drums. My younger daughter has had Pamela for the past five years and absolutely loves Pamela. Pamela is very experienced, patient and caring and took extra care teaching my younger one piano as she was a beginner. Pamela built rapport and confidence in her. After each class Pamela provides feedback to me on my daughters learning. My elder one tried new classes each year, such as drums, guitar and vocal. Each of her teachers were very experienced, friendly, professional and set targets for her including homework. Hills Shire Music School is a great music school as Greg has set a high standard which his teaches have to meet before getting recruited. Greg is caring, friendly and always offering make-up classes if we were away. He is great to talk to as Greg has a lot of knowledge on music and has provided a lot of info to my elder one on yesteryear music. My daughter has been attending flute lessons for the past few years and she loved every minute. She had a fantastic teacher and we could see the progress she was making as she improved every week. The owner, Greg was always friendly and accomodating with make up lessons. I would definitely recommend.
My eldest daughter has been going doing piano lessons for about 4 years now and she has improved her skills even getting high marks for her AMEB exam. Greg even finds the right teacher for the right level of piano. Now her little sisters started piano lessons here too.
My daughter had the pleasure of studying violin in this center. The teacher was a very experienced person who helped my daughter progress quickly through her learning journey. Greg is also a very customer oriented person who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
My both kids are learning music in this school, piano and guitar. We are very happy with the teachers, and with flexibility of lessons timing and communication.
This is a fantastic place for kids to learn music. We have been at this school for over 5 years now and our kids have done well here. The owner of the business, Greg, is very accommodating and helpful. We’d highly recommend this place and would say it’s the best music school in the Hills.
