What a lovely store! Filled with a wide range of quality made hats. Naomi was very knowledgeable and spent time with us during our visit today. We purchased akubra hats that we have been wanting for so long. Naomi explained how to care for our new hats and congratulated us on this special purchase. An excellent experience with professional advice given. A must see for locals and visitors.

I ordered my new Akubra online on a Sunday night and The Hattery had it dispatched the next day. It arrived 2 days later pack beautifuly and safe. A hand written note from the staff was also included thanking me for purchasing from them. Great service. I will be buying from these guys again.

Fantastic customer service and product! I was nervous about ordering from the opposite side of the world just because I am picky about how hats fit I'm in the United States I sent my measurements and they really put the extra effort to make sure I got a hat with an excellent fit. I had ordered a regular Federation IV and they found one that fit best that happened to be a deluxe grade hat. They sent me that one at no extra charge just to give me the one that fit best. The hat arrived and fits great  just like I wanted with a little extra room for the hat to shrink and conform. The hat shapes easily and gives that perfect Pre WW2 style fedora look I wanted. Don't worry about ordering from long distances, just send your measurements and they will make sure you get the right hat. I highly recommend them!

Wanted an adventure hat before tackling the Blue Mountains, found the perfect one on sale for $45, had seen a very similar one in Byron Bay a few days earlier for $100, very happy with purchase

I went into the store the other day seeking some help or advice on stretching my akubra hat which i purchase from this store to be met by a woman who was no help and only wanted to sell me a new hat! my akubra is 2 years old and in great condition.  Very disappointing experience.  I went home and ordered a hat jack delivered in 2 days and my hat is now better than ever. Avoid this store. The  Akubra brand deserves better.

After ordering my hat it was shipped out very quickly. I received it in great shape. I had to use a small piece of foam that they supplied to snug it up a bit. Nice personal thanks and instructions for care. We are now shopping here for my wife’s new hat.

Do NOT go to the coffee shop associated with this place.  We waited 25 minutes for coffee. Watched 6 people come in after us AND GET SERVED FIRST. four staff. Two waiters. One barista. Utterly hopeless.  had to ask where our coffees were twice.  Ended up walking out without.  $28.30 for a muffin, a slice of banana bread and two medium coffees......  THERE ARE MANY MANY OTHER OPTIONS. CHOOSE ONE. AVOID THE HATTERY CAFE.

Excellent service! My Akubra Stylemaster arrived 3 days after ordering online. Packed beautifully and with a thank you note from The Hattery staff. Would give them more than 5 stars if I could!
