Great service especially as they were really busy! The little boy working there made a great spicy chicken burger! Hoki was yum too.

Yummy vegetarian burger. A really nice patty which had corn in it.. scrummy . Fast service even though they were busy at the time. Good price. I recommend adding pineapple... it's only an extra $1. I was impressed enough to recommend it to five of my friends!

Gluten free items are on the menu and are advertised but was out of stock when we visited. So I decided to just have chips. Unfortunately, despite us asking for non GF goods to be kept separate from chips, it was all wrapped up together. So I had something else for dinner. A couple of extra steps and awareness would make you a much more desirable eatery. Please talk to someone who can guide you. Family said the fish and chips they had were OK.

We had Blue Cod and Chips. The fish was fresh with a nice crisp batter and the chips were well cooked. A great meal for $12

2 stars is fair, you shouldn't expect alot from fish n chips in a small tourist town, but this place is a shocker. Extremely expensive even for a small tourist town, fish tasted really bad and chip scoop size is shockingly small and poor quality, would not patron again, no-one i saw eating were happy with what they got.

Most disgusting food went there as the previous owner were amazing. Our fish was brown and tasted off, all other chips etc were over cooked. Definitely won’t be back that’s for sure, waste of money.

Would put 0 stars if possible. We bought the following. Chips were dripping with oil and soggy. Pineapple rings were still doughy. 5 pieces of cod, everyone commented on how rubbery and chewy the batter was. Aaaand all of that was $90!! Appalled.

Ignore the phone number, they seem to leave the phone off the hook. Disinterested behind the counter, forgot half our order and didn't seem to think to seem it was an issue when it was raised. Food was soggy and only half cooked. Fished smelt like it had been left out of the fridge for far too long. Go elsewhere, plenty of other places to eat in Hanmer.
