Great! First time visit and I enjoyed the coffee and my meal. Staff were attentive and friendly too.
This cafe was a surprise to me. Partner had wondered upon it and recommended it to me so went by on a Sunday morning. Really friendly staff, and really good food. The Chili scrambled eggs were really good and had just the right amount of chili. Definitely would visit again at a lunch time to taste their South African food
We were looking for somewhere to have breakfast for 20+ people the morning after our wedding. After trying multiple cafes in the Williamstown area, most being uninterested in the size of the booking at a peak hour time, we tried Grinders Story. They were extremely accommodating, did not require a deposit we’re happy to split bills and contacted me prior to send through a menu. The service was incredible and everyone enjoyed their breakfast, cannot recommended enough. Thanks again!
It was just ok, we got avocado dishes and I wasn't overly impressed with the quality, it could have been fresher. Probably it was the odd time, I'm sure they have other great dishes..The portion were generous though. Good coffee.
I had a really great experience for a first time visit to both Williamstown and the grinders story cafe! Destiny and Emma were really accommodating and made me feel welcome, I will be visiting again!
Nice place to come for brunch, lunch, morning or afternoon tea. Centrally located in Williamstown, I came here for a bite to eat and felt very much at home. The menu is nice with plenty of options. If you have dietary issues just let the staff know. Decor is appealing as well. You can eat inside or out. Furry friends are welcome with water bowls supplied out the front. High chair available. Wheelchair friendly. Enjoy!
Friendly atmosphere. Great service and the menu, great to choose from. Delish Thank you.
Stopped in at Grinder's while my better half was shopping. Ordered a large FW coffee and a ham and cheese croissant. Coffee came out quickly and was certainly large in a big ol'mug. The toasted croissant followed shortly after. The croissant was excellent you know it's a good-in when it kind of shatters when you cut into it. Was very flaky and buttery. Sat outside in the sun and was nicely sheltered from the wind by their glass partions/walls. Coffee was good and when I'm back in the area I'll have no issue in going back. P.s. Water for the table was a nice touch as well. Vegetarian options: Had a good selection of both Veggie & even a few vegan options. Parking: Heaps of free parking on the main drag, note most parking is only 60mins. But there was plenty of parking around. Wheelchair accessibility: Had a ramp up to the door and good amount of space between the wall and tables to allow a wheelchair ease of access to the counter for ordering. Dietary restrictions: Veggies and vegans were catered for.
Great food , great coffee , greeted with a smile by staff and owner. I average 8 coffees per week and recommend the crispy bacon egg brioche bun , always improving and 10% of profits go to the Guide Dogs. A Williamstown gem.Food: 5/5
Just had there protein pancakes and protein smoothie, and it was absolutely delicious which had 100% fresh berries and tasted like it too, Loved the warm greeting I received as I walked in also. Will definitely be coming back, highly recommend.
