I love The Grain. I go every day, sometimes twice a day! Best coffee, cakes and bread around. Such a relaxing place to enjoy my daily coffee before work. 
The service is excellent, I am greeted by my name and my regular order is ready before I enter the shop. A credit to Nick, Gina, Maria, Jim and everyone at The Grain, best customer service around, it's so nice to be treated like a friend. I love the cosy environment with the added bonus of the heater which keeps us all warm. 
It's unfortunate to read some negative banter about The Grain, when myself and many people that go everyday have such positive experiences!  I have been regular customer here for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience.
Thanks for the perfect latte and daily chats !!

It's appalling to see false reviews posted to try and target a particular person and bring down a business. Just plain sad! The owner does nothing but go out of his way for his customers. He has a great sense of humour and makes the best coffee by far. I work in Clayton and I really look forward to my coffee. I also LOVE the outdoor heater... keeps me cozy👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼By far my fave!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

BEST COFFEE IN MELBOURNE. I constantly travel out of my way every morning for my coffee and it never disappoints. The service is impeccable and you are treated more like a friend then just a number. Always leave with a smile! Highly recommended.
