I've been cooking spits over hot coals for many years at family events. After a recommendation from a friend, we tried the Gourmet Meat Rack for our Xmas spit meat - marinated lamb and chicken gyros. The queue of people getting their meat on Xmas eve was a good sign... The quality of the meats and marinade was perfect. The family agreed that this was the best gyros we had ever had cooked at home! I'll be back for sure.
This place is seriously awesome! The meat is always top quality and fresh! Been coming here for years and never had an issue. Don't come here for polite and poshy service, come for quality meats!

Check your receipt before leaving to confirm they've provided you with is what you asked for. I purchased a range of meats over the weekend but when I checked my receipt I found that they'd sold me 30% more of the mince that I asked for and and I'd paid for more expensive cut steak than the one that I asked which was on special and 20% less. Also, if they sell you meats from the cold room, check to see that they are of the same quality that they have on display. The diced lamb I purchased was 20% fat and nothing like what was on display. I've have had some nice produce from this butcher but I'll let you decide if what I've described above was just carelessness ... ask for your receipt and check it carefully before you leave. Also, check the quality of what they've sold you.
Way cheaper than Coles and better quality. Fun staff and extra helpful. They always go the extra mile. Gets busy and for good reason. A favourite amongst the locals.
Decent meat with fair prices but you need to keep an eye on what’s getting put in your bag. I’ve witnessed them on a few occasions try and put mangled bits of meat on the scales that look like it belongs on your dogs plate just to try get rid of it.
High quality meats, great service, significantly cheaper than any supermarket. Favourites for our family are low fat mince, lamb and pork roasts, porterhouse steaks and the free range chicken cuts. Can get busy on sat mornings so make sure you get a ticket before you que.

We ordered 30kg of gyro meat for our Xmas function - everyone at Northside Boxing Preston was extremely pleased with the quality and taste of the gyro meat! Full praise and credit to the butcher and Jim was very easy to deal with and nothing was every too hard when we placed our order. Highly recommend this place. Thanks guys...
Quality of product is very good but they won't cut your meat into small pieces if you reach there after 4pm. How can the clean there meat cutting saw 2h prior to shop closing time? Very disappointed with these excuse.
