The Good Shepherd Orthodox Church

I had always thought that if I was going to seek Christ through an organised structure it would have to be from the original, the basis. In Australia all we knew was Catholics, Presbyterians, Anglicans, Church of Christ and I thought it would have to be Catholic. Having discovered Orthodoxy I find this fulfills my belief in worshiping Christ in truth, unadulterated from the basis. The Good Shepherd Orthodox Christian Church has many people from many lands. Here many cultures combine as one in Christ. I find the services have depth and meaning.

I first visited the Good Shepherd because I was interested in Orthodox theology. What I found was a warm and welcoming community, a wise and attentive priest, and a thorough-going modelling of spiritual disciplines that are in equal measure challenging me and growing me. My family and I now count the Good Shepherd as our spiritual home.
