I decided to give The Good Guys a try despite seeing quite a few negative reviews, hoping my experience would be different.nnUnfortunately, my experience confirmed those concerns. In fact, this is the first negative review I’ve ever left on Google, which says a lot about how disappointing this experience was.nnI had already arranged my purchase with another staff member online before coming to the store. When I arrived, I clearly told Joel that I did not want to proceed through him because the order had already been arranged with someone else.nnDespite that, he sneakily asked for my personal details and opened an order under his own name, effectively trying to take over a sale that had already been assisted by another staff member. This also raised privacy concerns, as my details were taken and used even after I made it clear I did not want to proceed through him.nnJoel didn’t actually assist with the purchase, the Dyson vacuum demo was done by the Dyson representative, and the only thing he did was help pick up the item. I never asked for his help.nnYet when I got to the counter, the receipt showed Joel listed as the salesperson, which was surprising given he had no involvement in the purchase.nnThe whole situation honestly made me feel harassed and misled, like someone was trying to claim a sale they had nothing to do with. Thankfully the transaction was voided after I raised the issue.nnAfter this experience, I definitely won’t be returning to buy from The Good Guys again.
I bought a TV online from The Good Guys Brighton VIC 28/02/26 with delivery date 02/03/26.nIt was finally delivered 07/03/26.nApparently, it was an estimated delivery date and I was supposed to come to the store to have delivery scheduled.nThere was no mention during the purchase or on the receipt that store visit is required. No email or SMS that delivery is delayed.nI took over an hour at the store to get to talk to somebody in the online sales depertment. No appologies for the delay offered.nI am extremely diappointed and will never buy anything from The ???GOOD??? Guys again.nMarina Rozman
Went there as I saw a good Deal for the nutribullet and always wanted to buy one.nnThe price on the website was lower than the one in the store. But that wasn't a Problem at all. The Guy at the counter immediatley gave me the online price. Super friendly and fast.
I went to The Good Guys to buy a TV and was ready to purchase straight away. I waited around 45 minutes, but no one came to assist me. During this time, staff were focused on explaining every single TV in detail to another customer and completely ignored me.nA simple acknowledgment or letting me know someone would help soon would have made a big difference. Instead, I was left standing there feeling invisible and eventually left without buying anything.nPoor customer service and a waste of time. I expected much better from a major retailer.
