Historic hotel with innovative food, local beer, wine & cider. Live music Fridays and Sundays.

Story

The Goldmines Hotel was originally built in 1857 by David Sterry, who was of importance both on the Bendigo Goldfields and within the community.

The Walduck family purchased the hotel in 2010 and have rejuvenated the garden and courtyard areas.

Live music every Friday in BillyRoy's Blues Bar (located in our cellar) and every Sunday on our Courtyard stage between 3pm and 6pm.

Functions are our specialty. Our unique building and extensive gardens makes our venue perfect for your next function.

Fantastic all Craft Beer venue in an iconic hotel. Staff are knowledgeable and super friendly, the food is outstanding and it features what would arguably be the best beer garden in Victoria

Definitely a hidden gem but glad I stopped by, live music was good and the beer garden is great for relaxing with drink and snacks. Food was really good the starters were fantastic and the pork belly was amazing. Parmigiana and fish and chips were very good and the aioli was delicious.

I went here for (I think) the first time ever and I was amazed by the large and scenic beer garden, the biggest and best I've seen. I ordered the kickin' chicken pizza and is was perfect; it really hit the spot.

What an amazing garden! Great selection of beer and wine available here, and the meals were great too. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Rambling shambling delirious unconected great place to just wander and wonder. Good food very knowledgeable about beers. Fab.
