We had a wonderful breakfast at The Golden Nugget. Excellent food, actually too much for a great reasonable price. A big shout out to Thomas for his outstanding customer service. So friendly and helpful. Thank you.
Excellent food, we had the Chicken Burgers and a Chicken Schnitzel Burger. Fresh salad ingredients and bread rolls. They didn't come with chips, but we didn't need them. Burgers are filling on their own. Staff are nice and friendly. Definitely stop in here for a meal.
The Nug. Famous up and down the east coast. Rough and ready outside, and super friendly on the inside. The hotbox is proper good - every deep fried thing that you can think of. The restaurant is a time capsule. Eating here reminded me of going to the cafe/milk bar on a Friday night for tea. The range and size of the dishes is immense - its a truck stop after all. The mixed grill was next level - equally monstrous and delicious. Go to this place, take your time, have a feed and enjoy a fabulous experience.

Great pit stop. Good customer service and affordable eat in meals with very generous servings. Great coffee seals the deal when we are travelling through the area.
I have been going to the log cabin/gold nugget since I was 17 years old, spent plenty of first dates and hungover mornings here. Every time I order their rump with just chips and pepper sauce and it is consistently the same size and to the same standard for the last 12 years the girls are always amazing and i will always keep coming back, for this place to keep this up for this long is a testament to their reputation and service :
The people are friendly, the place clean, but unfortunately, my poor Kiev was well overdone. Cooked so dry the butter ran away. Chips were the saving grace crisp light and fluffy. Will be back to try again!
Nice little petrol station and convenient store. Got a chicken and salad roll from here and it was amazing!! Prices are a bit on the steep side but it is a convenient store. Toilet location is confusing. Its actually near the caravan park.
Driven past a few times but pulled in a few nights ago, so glad I did. Place is very clean good service with the options to dine inside or out. Ordered the rissoles with veggies and and gravy....omg awesome. Very tasty good portion quick and hot, what more do you need.
Absolutely fantastic meals, never leave there without being full. Staff are always kind, courteous & very friendly. Doesn't matter if you are a Gympie local or passing thru, everyone is always welcome.
