The Lounge at The George Hotel Is a fantastic functions & corporate space available for your next event every day of the week. It is ideal for corporate or large social events. The Lounge can accommodate 150 seated guests or 300 guests cocktail style (standing). Elegance and sophistication abound in Ballarat’s most suitable CBD functions and events space. The Lounge is located at the rear of The George Hotel. This elegant space, refurbished just a few years ago, is perfect for special occasions and ideal for large weddings.

Amazing renovations. Staff were super friendly and the interior is just elegant. The food was beyond words. All of our meals were delicious and so filling. Plus the scones with jam and cream that were complimentary. Definitely will return.

Beautiful place, clean room and cosy bed. It has pokies or game room downstairs, as well as good room service from their restaurant. Private parking available for hotel guests and its price is reasonably cheap

Arrived for our dinner eservation to be told that we had to order, eat and leave within half an hour. Table was dirty and sticky. Reservation staff were rude but bar staff lovely.
Stopped for lunch and ordered the vegan nachos. Worst nachos ever. They were obviously out of salsa so scraped out the jar for about a tsp of sauce, made up with lashings of ‘cheese’ bechamel ... that was not great.
