Our kitchen is open 7 days a week until 2pm

Story

We will be closed for Christmas from Friday 23rd December and will re-open Mid Jan keep a lookout on out website for our Jan opening dates

Walk in and take a look at our cafe that has been created out of old doors from around Coburg
Relax at our large tables or take a seat in the sun on our grass and have a latte from Gravity Coffee
and treat yourself to a brunch!

The pride is shown in the quality of your food!! I love the food quality, MASSIVE servings and actually chef standards, always has been. I’m only coming with on the quality of service. Your staff are great, just simple mistakes.nnToday they mucked up my GF bread. The waiter tried to tell me he was ‘pretty sure’ the sourdough bread he brought me was GF. I know better but any other coeliac might have had a rough time. After this they made us come back in after our meal and pay $2 for the GF bread that they mistakenly forgot. I’m ALWAYS happy to pay extra and did of course but has happened a couple times, I just appreciate a lil accountability! Was just a funny, awkward interaction but both servers just trying to do right and both still kind.nnYour staff are only human, and make mistakes. I do literally everyday, hence why I was very kind both in shop and I think fair in this review..nThis was simply a heads up still without a doubt worth a visit/100!!!!
It's really refreshing to find a cafe that isn't taking the piss.nnYou get a lot of really good food, cooked really well, for a very reasonable price here.nnDon't support stores that rip you off. Support those that do good food for a good, reasonable price. The Generator is fantastic. Has a good non-forced vibe. Nice and cosy.nnGood food. Good coffee. Good service. Good vibe.nnI will eat here again.
Wow! We found this cute little café by coincidence while driving through Coburg in the north of Melbourne.nnI very much liked the authentic interior design. The food offer is out of this world, I would have never expected to find this. So many different sweets and savory treats. The food presentation is truly amazing and you can find many bakery and cook books .nnThe staff was super friendly, welcoming and charming. They perfectly fit the café and spread positive vibes only. Even all the customers were very friendly and in a very good mood. No wonder when you see what they grabbed to start their days.nnA true little jewel .
My sister, my mum and I had lunch here. From the outside it looks like an old milk bar, but once you get in it, the decor was very eclectic and amazing. We each had a latte, which was good. I had the famous potato cake with pulled pork, my sister had poached eggs with bacon and hollandaise. Both were presented very well and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves good food and coffee.
