Writing this review on my third time here. I have so far tried the home made granola, the Huevos rancheros, the ham and cheese croissant, avocado on toast and coffee. Gotta say never been disappointed. Food has always been delicious, flavours, textures and presentation are on point very instagrammable food if your into that coffee always at the right temperature. Top it all up with awesome FOH staff, always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Can say after four years of exploring this has become my favourite place for breakfast as of 14/06/2024. Will definitely try the cocktails next time and come back with some tipping money. Keep up the good work. So far it’s always been a pleasure to come here 10/10 recommended .

Good menu, coffee and food. The staff were nice and price was average for the area. We really enjoyed brunch at The General the other weekend and look forward to coming again.

I’ve been coming here for a long time and would say it’s up there with my favourite cafe food in sydney. Not many cafes do breakfast food right but this place does. Flavour packed food, they really know to how to season food! Obsessed with their corn fritters!

We dined at 12:00 on a Friday. There were some tables inside and outside. We elected to sit outside on the footpath. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.nnThe staff were very friendly and accommodating.nnThe drinks range was varied, without being overwhelming. They arrived very quickly and were bitingly cold - outstanding.nnThe menu was broad and diverse. My beautiful wife ordered the gnocchi and I had a burger. They arrived surprisingly quickly.nnThe gnocchi was flavoursome and smooth, with the right balance of truffle. My burger was large, without being cumbersome. It was extremely tasty and had the perfect amount of juiciness. The juices ran into my plate, serving as pools of awesomeness for the chips that lingered because the serving was surprisingly huge.nnThe chips were thin and crispy, with a little bit of chilli. They reminded me that chips could be more than chips, they could be the tickets to inner peace and happiness.

Excellent breakfast tacos, with great flavour and tasty jalepeno papers and salsa. Full of filling too.nnCold brew coffee was fantastic, with well extracted flavour but beautiful softness from extraction.nnStaff were lovely and engaging.nVery enjoyable :
