Everything about our stay was perfect! Gorgeous home perfectly presented for a cosy romantic getaway! Walking distance to the 3 Sisters and fully decked out for self-sufficiency! Every little detail was well thought out! Lorraine is an amazing hostess with a keen eye for detail! The vibe was fantastic, decorated to feel like the Great Gatsby era!!! Highly recommend this as a place to stay!!!
This was our first visit to the Blue Mountains and loved every minute of our stay at The Gatsby. We arrived on a cold, wet day and experienced a total wow factor upon entering the house. Lorraine had the gas log fireplace going and beautiful music playing. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and maintained The Gatsby theme throughout. We appreciated the Art deco and Lorraine’s attention to detail. We have stayed at many places and this is very high quality and will definitely return. Rooms: Very comfortable beds in both rooms. The main bathroom had underfloor heating and a beautiful spa bath which was surrounded by candles. Nearby activities: Perfect position close to restaurants and supermarkets 5 minute drive. We walked to Echo Point and Scenic world approx.15minutes Food & drinks: It was a lovely touch to receive a bottle of wine and chocolates. Bacon, eggs, milk and cereal were also supplied. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, utensils etc
Truly outstanding. The Gatsby is located perfectly for access to Echo Point, and near to restaurants, cafes and shops. The house was immaculately presented, and full of lovely deco details. It rained pretty much the entire time we were there, but the house was so cosy and comfortable that we were more than happy to lounge around for the weekend. Lorraine was an excellent host and made sure that we had everything we needed. Can't wait to visit again!
We stayed at The Gatsby for the weekend. It was just the kind of getaway we are looking for. Lorraine is such a hospitable host, with great attention to details. We felt so pampered and looked after! It was a joyful stay at the Gatsby, the decor and interior are so beautiful. It is very cleaned and self-equipped, well located just 10 mins walk to the the echo point. All guests are required to complete a COVID survey before checking in, and this actually put us all at ease! I will definitely come back
The place and the settings in the house are exceptional. Unbeatable location it was only about 10 minutes relax walk to the Echo Point. A straight road walk up to the road with restaurants and shops. The communication and service from Lorraine is amazing. I’ve stayed in her properties a few times she always make sure you have a comfortable stay. All those little touches of the settings in the house gives you a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed my stay very much.
Wow! What an experience. From the moment you step inside the beautiful Gatsby you are transferred to another time of glitz and glamour. The home is stylishly and thoughtfully designed to make you feel like you splendid! Additional touches including the chocolates, wine, port and breakfast provides an additional level of comfort! The host was also very accommodating and very easy to communicate with! Well done on providing high quality accommodation in a wonderful location. We will be back!
We have just returned from a 1 night stay at “The Gatsby” cottage in Blue Mountains and it was one of the most amazing cottage experiences we have ever had. We were a family of 4 & went there to celebrate dad’s birthday. The cottage was just 4 min walk to the bus stop! We were welcomed to a nice & soothing music. The living room had gorgeous decor and everything was perfectly arranged. It had a fully equipped kitchen you can host a party! and included complimentary breakfast items. Beds and linen were heavenly comfortable. One of the two bathrooms had Jacuzzi. There was a small garden area in front of the cottage and outdoor dining area that included a BBQ. Overall, stay at this cottage was an amazing experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. It was an absolutely wonderful experience staying here. “Leaving was the hardest part!” Every penny was worth it! Very highly recommended!
Being at The Gatsby has been the perfect recharge and 2 days of perfect indulgence and luxury. Absolutely everything... from the Christmas tree and decorations welcoming us as we arrived, to the stunning decor, luxurious Milton Brown toiletries and impeccable cleanliness and tones. Staying at the Gatsby wasn’t just the fact that it was incredibly comfortable and welcoming but it was an experience. The attention to detail was exceptional and I honestly felt like I was back in the 1920’s. Quite possibly one of THE best places to stay in, when at the blue mountains, if you want that extra special experience. It’s also close to scenic world and all the ammenities you could possibly need. This should be on your bucket list of places to stay.
