By far the best gym I’ve been to…and I’ve tried and failed at about 3 other gyms. Staff are knowledgeable, warm and friendly and you’re always greeted when you arrive. The atmosphere in this gym is a real testament to staff and owner that work tirelessly to incorporate new equipment, keep the gym clean and encourage you. Members that you meet along the way that go here are also lovely and you never feel out of place. Can’t believe it’s almost been a year and the results are unreal. Joining is quick and easy, you’ll never look back!

I've been going to this gym pretty much since it opened and I really enjoy it. The equipment is high quality, it has everything you need and it's a clean environment. The new owner is super friendly, always willing to give tips, helpful advice and push you when he knows you can give more. You can tell he is really passionate about his job and is constantly trying to improve the gym and people's experience's while there. Keep up the good work Greg

One of the best gyms I've ever trained at! Friendly staff and a very tidy and clean gym. The first thing that caught our attention when we were looking for a new gym was the amount of hammer strength machines that they have. Awesome gym, great atmosphere and plenty of good equipment. New management is upgrading some gear so good to see reinvestment and them taking feedback on what gear customers would like. Can’t beat the price either,  Highly recommend!

Had the most amazing experience at this gym. Clean environment, a welcoming culture and a great location. Greg and the team helped me to hit my goal weight and kept me motivated while they trained me up for my first ultramarthon. I left as I was moving to North Canterbury but since I can't find a gym that can match it, I'll be signing back up this week. Definitely recommend giving them a go

By far the best gym I've ever been to. Not overcrowded. Great atmosphere. New owners are lovely. Clean modern equipment and at a really affordable price. Highly recommend.

So far, 4 weeks in, I'm loving this gym.  Warm, clean, really good equipment.  Not too crowded, especially at 9pm at night when I go.  Music isn't too loud or annoying.  The best part about this gym so far is Craig McGuigan.  What a legend.  Would be nice to have some boxing equipment but the other cardio stuff here is really good.

I have only dealt with Gregg and Jamil but they have both been lovely and understanding and get the struggles of student life. Gregg is my personal trainer and is supportive and not judgemental. If you are wanting an intense weightloss regime, Gregg does one up for you and through the knowledge from his military workouts you build strength and lose fat and notice a difference within a week. It may kill you but you feel better afterwards. If you are just looking to build muscle he has amazing leg and arm workouts that he pushes you through. You end up hardly being able to walk/lift things because of how intense they are. But it’s great.  The gym is always cleaned- cleaned more than once a day by staff, the staff are happy to have a conversation with you and aren’t just focused on the gym maintenance and all make sure they have a rapport with the members. It’s cheap. Yes city fitness is $1 more but the gallery is smaller in a good way. More intimate and you get more for your money. The new management is doing an awesome job and I can’t wait for the grand re-opening If you are looking at signing up it’s definitely worth it!

The Gallery Fitness has been by far the best gym I've been to. Staff are friendly, and it's like a second family. It's well worth the long commute

The best equipped gym in Christchurch. The best equipment and so clean and tidy. Great atmosphere and parking is never an issue. Awesome showers and chill out area. And so affordable.
