Had lunch today with friends for my 49 year Wedding Anniversary. Best experience I have had in years. All meals were exceptional and on an extremely busy day came out in a timely manner. Bar and wait staff were friendly and efficient. Wish I had asked the manager his name as he was amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
We had three really good dining experiences here but the fourth experience was not great. The breakfast we had the first day was absolutely beautiful. It was only two of us on every occasion so we were quite disappointed on our last trip when things went sideways. We went for breakfast again and order the same dishes we had the previous day. My food came out and looked delicious, my companion was delivered her sides and then nothing else. We were told her breakfast would be out shortly but she was left with cold poached eggs and when we asked if they could be replaced with new ones, it was realised that the rest of her meal wasn’t even being made. Unfortunately I had to eat my meal while she waited because mine had ice cream on top. By the time her meal finally came out I only had a few fork fulls left of mine. It just left us quite disappointed as every other time we’ve been here we had great food and service. It was such a shame as it was our last day in the area. That’s the only reason I’m giving a 4 star review. On the plus side the food is lovely, my dinner a few days previously was so yummy. We had the steak and the pork belly which were divine and the breakfast waffles were delicious, especially the apple, macadamia one. I also had the whipped feta dip which was very good.
Went for lunch with family, had the beef ribs & they were fantastic, some of the best I have ever had. My partner had the lamb ribs which were excellent, both meals were full of flavour & extremely tender. We will go back again.
Love it. Great dinners and drinks are on point. Views lovely. Lots of places to sit and professional staff that really are helpful. Nothings too much trouble. The kitchens open longer than most so you can get a late meal if needed
My family and I went down there yesterday, table of 20. Four people got their meals at 5:30pm. The remainder of the 16 that order after still hadn’t received their meal after waiting for an hour to which we asked the kitchen staff where they were? Allegedly our receipt was left in the printer and the kitchen we’re going to “fast track” our meals however 2 of the meals we ordered an hour prior has now run out of stock, so now they were unable to eat dinner, we had to be refunded. We then waited until another 30mins to get our dinner. An hour and 30 min wait for a pub feed. When they “fast tracked” our dinner there were about 30 dinner handed out to all other patrons, there definitely was no fast tracking at all. Quality of food was not good at all. Very unfortunate to have received this service as we had tiny children there and arrived at full moon at 5pm for dinner so all the kids could get to sleep at a reasonable time and left at 8pm due to the prolonged service. Definitely not going back.
