Just had a lovely dinner at the pub. 2 perfectly done steak, excellent fish and chips plus a tasty cheeseburger made for a delicious meal.nFriendly, efficient service makes the Freo a really good place to settle in front of the fireplace and enjoy a great pub meal.

We visited for a Sunday lunch. My wife ordered a Thai beef salad and I ordered a cheeseburger. Cheeseburgers are my number one favourite food and I order them everytime I visit a place for the first time. The burgers here were as close to spot on as you can get, the beef salad came out and it was like a mountain of beef, noodles and greens. All topped off with a $10 pint, you can't ask for more!nnPS, service was top notch too!

Good central location, classic pub with a good bar and a cracking pool room, food limited but all the classics done well. Guinness on tap so an extra point there!

Extremely poor service!nWaited 15 minutes at the bar to buy a couple drinks and meals early afternoon on a weekday, however totally ignored by the bar staff whilst they only served people on the other side of the fireplace, even though one walked past us on multiple occasions he wouldn't make eye contact and never apolagised for the delay or said he would just be a minute, finally we left and spent our money at the Bridgetown Hotel were we got served straight away and had a good meal.nHave no intention of ever going back to the Freemasons again.

Had dinner here recenty and main meal was basic pub-style with a huge serve of protein chicken, beef and heaps of chips salad was extra. Service was attentive however the bar staff who served me did not know red from white wine and a middy from a pint!
