Nice hidden little cafe adjoined to a nursery. It is set inside a historic home with indoor and outdoor seating. The environment gets 5 stars, the food gets 4 stars and the variety of food gets 3 stars, so I balanced it out over a 4 star Cafe. I had the mousaka and a nice coffee, the salmon was also ordered and was very nice, however they didn't had English breakfast tea and had to opt for an earl grey. Plenty of parking which is great. For dessert they had pancakes only and a few cakes on showcase, we tried a coconut cake, which was nice.
Long time favourite. We have not visited since before lockdown. Staff are all new but the menu we and quality remain relatively unchanged. Puppy friendly and relaxed comfortable chic setting. Coffee was great as always. Great start. I had the baked eggs which could be one of my favourite dishes for some time. So much flavour. Wow. Husband had the big breakfast and that did Not disappointed. Still very popular so best to book ahead if you can.
Lovely garden and very, very pretty venue. I came on the day that 3 of the staffs called in sick and they were absolutely swamped, and surely there were a bit delay and a moment of “whose coffee is this” but overall was warm and welcoming. The owner did her best to accommodate. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Coffee is a bit rushed but still taste good. Wouldn’t mind coming back to try more on their menu.
I personally had the Barramundi dish for lunch, and the meal was perfect. Each of us enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere, and the staff were wonderful and attentive. Meals average pricing. Highly recommend if you are in the area. And of course, you get to wander around the nursery next door after, to walk off your meal, which I also absolutely love.
The vibe of it, indoor and outdoor is great, specially their next door nursery’s made it more cute and green. The staff are also doing great, from hosting to serving and checking on the tables, but honestly I expected more from the foods, or at least from the salad I ordered. It was a prawn salad, but the number of ingredients and its appearance were disappointing.
The French toast and coffee was amazing, and so was the location. A beautiful place. However the service was terrible. There was a glass missing from the table 8 glasses for 10 people so I asked "can I get a glass so I can drink water", and the response was "we don't have any glasses as they've run out...". What kind of comment is that! So I responded "so how do I drink water, from a bowl?". No solution was provided, so I just said give me anything so I can drink out of something. So they gave me a paper coffee cup see photo. Secondly we asked for the heater to be turned on as we so the other heaters on. Then we get told "sorry, they are not working". Lastly, the first customer rep we had couldn't even be bothered to walk around the table and give our coffees. What if we dropped the coffee on ourselves or the kids?? The second one we had, she was very pleasant and professional. Would I go back? Probably not.
Our absolute favourite tranquil weekend breakfast spot. Service, food and coffee is always incredible. The space is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and we absolutely love coming here! Thanks Yasmin and Baz
Recommended by a local and did not disappoint. The decor is very nice and the food was delicious. Also portion size definitely fills you up. We had the strudel and moussaka and liked both.
the waits times at this place is unbelievable, you wait more than 30 minutes for a soft drink and hot chocolate. the food portions are not worth the money, $26 for 1 chicken sausage and 2 eggs plus some vegetables - what is that? parking is also atrocious, so many potholes and not enough spots. staff seem obnoxious when you ask for something, don’t bother telling us that you’re short staffed if we see staff just standing around, i even saw a few other tables around us leave due to wait times. i cant even count the amount of times the staff brought out the wrong items. don’t bother coming here.
Amazing cafe next to a nursery. Food was delicious and service friendly and quick. Outdoor eating area is beautiful. Didn't try coffee tho, maybe next time. Parking: Easy parking onsite
