The food is nice as the ratings suggest. Its not the best of the best as others have exaggerated but it is still nice. Serving size is a bit above reasonable. The wait time is normal for fresh chips and burgers - about 15 minutes for a burger and small chips. Having said that I was the only one there at the time, so give more time during busier periods.
Entry level burgers are well priced $12.5, while the more fancy one gets a price hike $16. Thick buns. Chips and fried chicken pieces are really good. Restaurant decor needs work. Toilet is like from a haunted house, better to hold it in. Friendly staff. I'd come back for the food to take away and eat on the beach.
Great local cozy cafe! My faves are Bra Burger and Lord Beefington with sweet potato wedges. Decent price, friendly stuff. I took Takeaway wraps several times and never disappointed. Many seats inside and outside cafe. Great options on the menu. All food always fresh and delicious
Not the most appealing look of burgers but overall the taste was ok. It says that the burgers are ‘pink’ but ours was well-done; nothing pink about it. We also ordered the fried sweet potatoes, but they didn’t taste that good. The interior design inside doesn’t really have a nice/cool vibe. Very cold, and basic. Although it didn’t seem busy, it took a while before the food arrived. I don’t think we would come back.
A popular local hamburger hang out. Very hip and trendy serving great burgers and drinks. It is a 5 minute walk from the beach. Parking is tough in summer on a hot day. The restaurant has a couple of tables out the front and a few tables with bar stools inside as well as two bar benches. The restaurant was full of locals crowding in or waiting in the street for takeaway. The menu only has burgers and chips. They are licensed so there are a few beers and wine options available. There is a baby burger option that is served with fries. A great choice for the kids, consider asking for no seasoning on the fries 2 of 3 of our kids didn't like it. All other burgers are served with no fries. The fries as good quality steak fries with a seasoning. Tomato sauce is available from the bar. The burgers are plain and simple good quality food. Table water and glasses are available. Order at the bar and the burgers will be brought to the table. There is a toilet on site.
Great food. Burgers are delicious very well priced. I’d recommend the “bra burger” it’s a simple juicy succulent burger which is definitely going to hit the spot. The staff are super friendly and There’s a fun atmosphere to the place
Simple burgers done EXTREAMLY well. The venue is great its that relaxed beach vibe, tunes are lovely and the staff are great. One of the only places in the eastern suburbs I can get a good burger chips and a drink for under $20 The thing I love about it is in the recent days of over the top burger joints. This place has kept to a simple formula and does it awesomely, a burger you can actually eat without a knife and fork. Keep it up guys and gals!
Wow, the southern fried chicken from here! Imagine you went to KFC and got some chicken, and then had it deconstructed and put together again with the finest and freshest ingredients from across the lands, based on a recipe more secret than the Colonel's own, which was then blessed by an ancient tribe of mystical shaman, before being kissed by a unicorn. Maybe then, and only then, would you start to understand what these are like. Recommended pairings: chips and aioli. Coke.
Best burgers at the beach. Priced well, friendly vibe, and beer on tap. And now double the size - they've expanded into the premises next door and added heaps more seating
