Superb place for a drink or meal with friends and family. Took the kids here and while they enjoyed their kids menu I was flabbergasted at the sheer size of my chicken burger. Thankfully it was delicious, as was the kids pizza. Spacious and modern - spotted at least four separate areas to hangout - I can imagine the place is heaving when busy, and based on the quality of the food and service I’d say that happens pretty regularly. Even the toilets were awesome!
I recommend pulled pork burger comes with chips, fetticinne with chicken, beef burger& popcorn chicken meal for kids comes with salad & chips, cheese pizza, & melting ball for dessert. Food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Would recommend eating here. The burgers are very big & filling. I would eat here again. Very Big popcorn chickens they were yummy. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs for little kids. My kids enjoyed it here they were happy with their food here they want to come again. Parking: The parking is close & theres carport parking as well.
I love wood-fired pizza but found that five out of eight pizzas have pork or processed meat with few vegetables. I ordered the chicken one. The meat toppings were plenty but I ended up removing some bacon. Too much bacon for my taste. I prefer their old pizza menu with more variety.
Popped in for a work do. Pizzas were excellent the beer was good. I don't want to bang on about it but the staff were fantastic, listened to my constructive criticism product range related and seemed to genuinely take it on board. Will definitely return.Food: 4/5
My goodness. I love a good pie. But this . This was heaven. Simple but elegant. Never was a pie and chips so delicious, give me more. And the gravy on the side OMG. I am satisfied.
A surprisingly upmarket menu, not your usual pub, so don't be fooled by the modest look. We had the dukkah crusted lamb ribs with Israeli couscous, feta, and beetroot, and the biggest "small" potion of ribs with confit garlic flatbread, all cooked to perfection. Also the $12 cocktails were an absolute steal. What a gem! Not to be missed.
Very good food. Lots of choices for Gluten Free. Menu was extensive. Soft drinks came with no straws and when we asked, we were told they didn't have any, which I found a bit odd. Some ladies like using a straw. Our waitress was new to the job and was being trained. She did well. I had chicken wings and seafood chowder. Both delicious. The restaurant was full which is a good sign especially for a mid week night. Would definitely go back.
We had a large group but all received our dishes within minutes of each other. Extensive menu and we all enjoyed our choices. My mussels meal was excellent, tender mussels in delicious broth
Took a last minute booking for 19 people. Great food that suited a range of eaters. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely come back. Thanks so much!
Dined at Farriers last evening a large group of about 30 of us. Restaurant was humming and especially being a Monday evening, staff excellent couldn't fault service or food! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, all came out together, I had the pork belly and squid with asian slaw was awesome definitely go back again when in Masterton!
