Gorgeous art deco styled theatre - home to some great shows. Comfortable seats, clean amenities and ample room to move around.

Absolutely beautiful Theatre. I loved it, the accoustics are wonderful. Went to see Mary Poppins last Sunday, great show, huge stage. Lighting great. Good facilities, bar etc. coffee downstairs.

Staff were friendly, clean environment, seats were very comfortable, building was BEAUTIFUL!

I'm a terrible multi-tasker so running around at work, doing multiple things, while also jumping online to buy tickets for the Brisbane leg of a tour, was never going to end well. Suddenly, I was the proud owner of two tickets for the Toowoomba show!nnBut, here's the reason for the 5 stars. It took one explanatory message on The Empire's webpage, to customer support, and within literally an hour or two I received a reply that the tickets had been cancelled and a refund was on the way. Brilliant!nnTo The Empire, and to Helen, my sincerest thanks! I was very close to a huge 'please explain' from my wife, so your prompt assistance was a genuine blessing. Thanks again.

It's the first time attending The Empire our friends brought 4 tickets to see SMOKEY the other friends that the tickets were intended for had medical problems so our friends asked my partner and I if we wanted to go yes was the answer the show was amazing I thought The Empire looks amazing.nI'm looking forward to attending again soon
