We ordered the scallop and prawn dumplings - they were SO GOOD!nnThe place has a super cute vibe, perfect for girls night.nnOnly downside was the noise, there was a large group booking and they were extremely loud. However overall it was a good experience otherwise.
A vibrant little dumpling bar!nnThere were a few positives and negatives about this restaurant. The atmosphere was fun with nostalgic music playing through the night.nPumping with people coming in and out, the restaurant was a little bit too loud.nTables packed into a small space, giving the feeling of sardines. At many points I found myself yelling to talk to my partner across the table.nnDrinks were very well priced with cocktails costing $10! Drinks didn’t taste very strong making you question if they were full strength otherwise very yummy.nnWe got a mix of dumplings and a noodle dish and found it enjoyable to eat. Nice flavours and tasted fresh. Food came with very little wait.nnStaff were very on top of all orders and clean up although was hard to tell if they were genuine or trying to push you out the door. I think if they focused on the customer experience rather than a fast roll over time the experience would be heightened.nnOverall a nice dining experience.
Saw this place on TikTok and it did not disappoint! We did have to wait around 30mins for a table with no booking so be sure to book before u go. Very loud and busy ambience but the staff are still very friendly. The dumplings and fried rice were by far the best, we ordered both pan fried ones and pretty sure it was pineapple fried rice. The Peking duck was honestly yummy but the chewy and firm texture of the wrapping paper made it a bit hard to chew. The fried chicken wasn’t to our liking at all, it tasted over cooked and the pungent smell of the burnt chicken made it very disliking. But overall, it was exciting to try this restaurant and for the price definitely recommend.
Packed and vibey. The dumplings are great but the rest of the food was a bit too salty. They accept AMEX. Close proximity to the train station and the bus stop is very close by. The seatings are rushed though and they really try to hurry you along. Moderately priced
Food tasted okay but was fairly average with no real spice or flavour,nour entrees came out last.nCocktails were weak but were cheap so no real complaints here.nMenus were covered with food splatter which sort of put us off from the start.nnOverall an okay experience but its something we wouldn't return to.nThe dumplings Aries Sichuan Style Boiled Pork Wontons with Chill and Sesame were the best overall and I think if we just stuck to a whole heap of different dumplings it would have been better than ordering some of the main dishes - we ordered Singapore Chili & Deep Fried Salt and Pepper Chicken
