Visited this restaurant twice in the 3 days we were in Canberra- absolutely stunning!nThe momo platter was by far my favourite dish.nSharing with friends but could have easily eaten then all myself.nThe crunchy chicken and chow mein is so yum!nAlso tried the suja butter tea- delicious and filled me up quickly!nnLovely location, premises and staff.nHappy to still take orders as we arrived in Canberra quite late.nThank you so much it was amazing!
While it’s the first Bhutanese restaurant in Canberra, it lives up to the name that’s attached to “Druk”, that’s purely and truly Bhutanese. The food’s yum yum and the service perfecto and chop chop…simply mind-blowing, only expected of the Bhutanese lots. Enjoyed the food and hospitality to its last bit and the most of all, the soulful Bhutanese music lilting in the background only added a unique Bhutanese flavour, making us miss home to its very core. And to the non-Bhutanese lots out there, please go visit this amazing restaurant to steal a glimpse of “Bhutan”, the last shangrila on earth and its happy people.nnps adding this today after a year or two of leaving this review: If only the restaurant could serve online orders better. From my experience and those of my close ones, the deliveries lack the same taste and fervour like dining in the restaurant itself and it’s happened repeatedly. Or worse, they mess up the order. Just yesterday, I ordered egg spaghetti with other dishes. The egg spaghetti was bland and no salt at all. So overall, these are a little bits and pieces the restaurant needs to pay attention to.
Came from Brisbane to try Druk Family Restaurent’s food. Absolutely had a wonderful food. It’s super authentic food they served. Felt like I was in Bhutan. Highly recommended. This is best place to try authentic Bhutanese cuisine.

I absolutely cannot tell you how delicious this was. Even my children who are fussy eaters demolished all their dishes.nFood is flavourful, creamy, fresh and simply delicious. This is our new favourite and cannot praise this restaurant enough!
