The Crystal Caves

About

The Crystal Caves is a Museum featuring hundreds of crystals, fossils. In business since 1983, The Crystal Caves sources jewellery worldwide.

Story

René Boissevain is a man with a passion. He has spent a lifetime travelling to every corner of the world to collect crystallised mineral specimens, gemstones, fossils and rocks. He searches only for the best - the most perfect, the most extraordinary, the most valuable, the rarest and the biggest.

To house his growing collection of more than 600 individual pieces, René has built 250 m2 of tunnels and grottos for you to explore. The dedication and imagination of one man to build a fantasy cave to house his massive collection is only surpassed by the quality and size of the crystals and fossils. You will be surprised that the world offers so many different types and sizes of crystals.

This virtual cave gives the feeling of finding these natural formations yourself. Carefully positioned and delicately lit, you are free to discover in your own time and encouraged to touch and photograph the crystals.

Open your mind and put all expectations aside, this is not your average museum…

We had a great experience at Crystal Caves. We didn't go through the museum, but the jewellery shop is already amazing, so many beautiful gemstones. I cracked my own geode. That was an amazing experience. The staff is very nice and explains everything to you about your geode.nWe didn't have more time to do the museum, but I guess it's really worth it.
Our experience was magical! An impressive show room and we liked the fact that everything was interactive! Definitely worth doing the ‘Crack-a-Geode’
An awesome experience, so many beautiful crystals to see & touch. Really felt like you were in a cave, so well displayed. The kids that we saw loved it too. Bought some beautiful jewllery, couldn't resist. Staff were so lovely, welcoming & informative. You will not be disappointed.
We had a wonderful time at the Crystal Caves. It is a self guided tour, you can spend the time you want in for $25 per adult. It is allowed to touch the crystals nYou better read all the signs to gather knowledge, which will help you to pick the right geode to crack open, once back in the souvenir shop.nnThe staff is lovely and knows what they talk about. Thank you for all !
Amazing experience!!! Beyond my expectation! The cave inside look so real like a real cave. No words to explain just need to see it yourself!!! Worth to pay!!
