The Craft & Co

About

EATERY. BREWERY. DISTILLERY. MICRO-DAIRY.

Story

The Craft & Co in Collingwood is a brewery, distillery, eatery and function venue. It is sister site to The Craft & Co Farm in Bangholme that operates as a boutique winery, cellar door and cafe.

BREWERY
Our onsite brewery makes our own range of beers that are available through our rotating drinks list and cellar door. With collaboration, education and experimentation at the heart of our brewhouse, we are a brewery that allows the craft beer industry to further develop in Australia.

DISTILLERY
Our copper still creates our amazing range spirits including gin, grappa, limoncello, vodka and liqueurs. It is also used to collaborate with some of the country's most talented distillers, as well as train our next generation of artisans.

WINERY
Our very own 40 acre vineyard and winery, cafe and cellar door named The Craft & Co Farm and located only 40km out of Melbourne in Bangholme. We grow grapes for wine, hops for beer, botanicals for distilling and veggies/herbs and livestock for our own in-house branded produce.

EATERY
Our menus reflect our overarching philosophy of supporting Australian producers. We source all our ingredients and products as locally as possible.

Our chefs make ingredients onsite including ricotta, haloumi, fresh mozzarella & yoghurt in our cheese room & prosciutto, capocollo & pancetta & more in our meat rooms.

We also offer a pairing menu that showcases our selection of artisan smallgoods & cheeses matched with local craft wine, beer and spirits.

STORE & DELI
At The Craft & Co, we support local artisans, craft makers and producers in our deli, bottle shop and provedore. We offer a vast selection of cheeses, meats, condiments, homewares, pantry staples, beer, wine & spirits with new products coming in every day.

Come and explore the latest craft gin, salami or homemade sauce that we’ve sourced from as close as Collingwood to as far as Western Australia, and chat to our knowledgeable staff to learn about new products, makers and producers.

CHEESE ROOM
Our onsite cheese making room comes with state of the art processing and preserving capabilities. From ricotta to mozzarella, this facility is for the region's best cheese makers to strut their stuff, educate and add their uniqueness to our restaurant.

CURED MEATS ROOM
The cured meats room comes with state of the art Stagionello® preserving and curing technology. From salami to pancetta, this space is used by talented and aspiring curers that want to strut their stuff and educate the community.

We had our Christmas party here again this year. The service was amazing and the salmon and lamb mains were to die for. Thanks for making our party a great one guys!
We had the cheese tasting platter which I thought was great. Pairing gin and cheese was a first time for me and I thought it was really interesting. We also ordered the gin paddle boards and got to sample most of the gins, was a great experience. If you love gin, definitely pop in and give this brewery a go.
The cheese platter was nice however the service was shocking. We ordered the wine float and it took them 40 minutes to bring out despite the restaurant being almost empty. The wait staff were inattentive and did not offer us any more drinks in the three hours we were there.
Nice decor, good atmosphere, lovely beers. Came in only to do some beer tasting so can't comment on the food. The locally brewed beets were quite nice but a little too generic. Enjoyed them all but none was really memorable. For $20 the tasting paddle is a pretty good value for money. Recommended.
