Love Her Majesty’s Pleasure with olives and jalapeños. Best pizza I’ve had! I enjoyed the rustic ambience, like being taken back in time, complete with candle-lit tables and old photos. A must-dine in QT. It’s the oldest continuously operating in town, an icon in its own right. They have a good selection of drinks and a few beers on tap. Staff are cheerful and friendly. Will come back again! 5
The pizza and garlic bread is absolutely amazing! It was the perfect dinner for our first night in Queenstown! The staff are also super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend The Cow!
Adorable rustic Italian place. The garlic bread was amazing, I wish I had more space in my stomach so I could have eaten more of it. The bolognese was delicious, I could have eaten two plates of it if I had that extra room in my stomach that helped accommodate the garlic bread! The line can be long at peak times but definitely worth the wait!
First thing you need to know is get there early, no reservations and we went on a Monday night. We got there 10 minutes before it open and were 3rd in line. We had a pick of where we wanted to sit and with in 5 minutes it was full, and you were looking at a minimum 30 minute wait for a table, and there were a lot of people waiting. It is a really quaint place that has a genuine mid 1400s feel about it, with the room filled with the warmth of burning wood it truly is a nice place to share a meal with friends. The garlic bread is a delight, hand made loaf no store bought reheat here. I had the pepperoni pizza, it was OK. don't get me wrong it's nice pizza. Just not great. If you've ever been to Villa Romana in Cairns, Australia it's a must do thing when ever we go to Port Douglas. Straight from the Cairns airport for lunch.. this is not that, but a nice meal none the less. My wife and daughters had pasta dishes and loved them. I would eat here again.
Delish pizza and esp the fresh garlic bread, slathered in actual garlic and chives. Not on menu but you can opt for half portions of the bread, which is highly recommended so you can actually have space for other food. Staff was super friendly, good and focused wine selection, especially the rose.Food: 5/5
They were open earlier than usual due to the marathon event and the chef was kind enough to make us the sauce specially for our dietary needs. I highly recommend the spaghetti Dipollo it was spicy and with each bite you can taste the rich flavor Perfecto It didn't take long to make and the portions were good as we ended up taking half the Pizza take way. Garlic bread is huge and delicious . The atmosphere is warm and music is lovely and even when crowded the noise is not bothering It must be something with how the building was built really nice and friendly staff who are on their tippy toes and are quick to attend your service.
Super cute and cozy place! The outside seats are sheltered and comfy. Pasta was delicious and the girl serving was friendly and lovely! Thanks for a nice dinner!
Really good food, service and ambiance value for money big portions also have an option to get half serving of spaghettinormal potion is big for a single person the only place in Queenstown where I have been 2 times in a row during my stay. Must try Spaghetti with chicken livers and Spaghetti with Mushrooms.
Enjoyed a couple of drinks by the fire! Great service and definitely a must see in Queenstown. The building is in its original style and holds a lot of cool history. They do mulled wine so perfect on a cold day!
we definitely over ordered for two pax and had to take away the pizza in the end but every dish was so very delicious! tried the garlic butter bread, bolognese and prosciutto pizza. every thing was 10/10 especially the garlic bread which was so soft and crispy at the same time. bolognese was also one of the best i’ve eaten. it was an unassuming place from the outside but it definitely did not disappoint : highly recommend!
