We visited this little gem as a family up from Rockingham for a good breakie. It was a small and cosy place with so much character. The staff/owner were very welcoming and friendly and the decor was awesome. It felt very retro and I think French Moroccan. The food was really tasty and amazing value for money with great portion sizes. The bread they make is beautiful, like nothing I've had before. We'll be back, great place!
Hubby and I decided to venture out and try a new cafe for breakkie, and we are so glad we did. Between the French toast and Turkish eggs we were lost somewhere between heaven and happiness! Coffee was absolutely delicious. Special shout-out to the Portuguese tart, flaky sweet deliciousness that just melted in your mouth. To top it off it had this cool 70s vibe that just complimented the whole experience. Will definitely be back!
I like the setting and atmosphere of this cafe, but there wasn't a lot to choose from on the menu, a very limited menu. We the the smoke salmon, average food, coffee was alight.
The food here was delicious. I had the smoked salmon with poached eggs, avo, and feta cheese. The portion size was great and flavours were awesome. I think the were understaffed but they managed really well with such a small space!
In a hidden local area but OMG it is so great!!! Definitely my fav cafe in Perth. The food is divine and my taste buds are hard to please... couldn’t stop stealing my partner’s food We had bacon and egg blue cheese bread, and bacon and avocado panini. Both are amazing
We were out walking the dog this morning and came across the Cool Room. We managed to find a seat outside at one of the retro tables with a retro sun umbrella and realised that just about every table had at least one dog laying beneath it. Honey, our super cool Whippet, was greated by a small oodle of some variety. I walked to the counter to order and noticed a few of the customers sitting at the inside tables were tucking into some very nice looking meals. While I waited the short time to be served I noticed the cakes on display, I wasn't hungry but was swayed to order the gluten free carrot cake as it looked spectacular. For my wife I ordered a Almond Friand. When I returned to the table Honey had layed down under the table on the synthetic lawn. This is the first time at a cafe that she has not been anxious. The cakes were delivered to the table just after I sat down and the coffee and tea arrived soon after. The tea pot was huge, awesome value for money. Tea cup was a gorgeous antique, probably from the shop next door. Coffee was very nice. Lovely friendly staff. The meals coming out for other customers were large and looked fantastic, we made plans to return tomorrow for lunch. Such a relaxing venue not surprising it was busy but still had a few spare tables. We will definitely be returning again. If you are not a fan of dogs there are plenty of tables inside or choose a table away from the k9's as this is definitely a dog friendly cafe.
Love the feels here, so cool and random! It's a great spot - hidden among the houses, with a vintage odds and ends op shop next door. Food was great, large dishes and great taste - but it took 50 minutes to arrive. I suggest ordering well ahead of when you want to eat because the kitchen is small and therefore the food takes a long while to come out.
So nice to find a place that cares about ingredients and knows how to blend them. Just moved here 3 months ago, and look, most places for breakfast it’s either a toasty or a wrap. Food was a great change of pace. I’ll be back.
A very pleasant spot to stop on a Sunday morning/afternoon, a buzzing crowed of young and old, dogs and toddlers in a relaxes “suburban” Spot. The coffee was good, food presented well with friendly staff. Great old school fit out linoleum tables maybe direct from the op-shop next door. Relaxed and friendly.
Hi Peta, The food and coffee were perfect, so we were so impressed last Sunday. We hope we will become your good neighbor near future See you again. Parking: Huge parking lots.
