Story

The Concourse is one of Sydney’s leading entertainment venues home to a dynamic range of live arts and entertainment.

The Concourse incorporates a Concert Hall and Theatre as well as rehearsal and studio space. It also provides conferencing facilities and venues for hire.

Chatswood Library provides over 5,000 square metres of books, resources and reference material, entertainment and information.

The Outdoor Urban Screen is programmed full of free public entertainment including digital art, open air cinema, live sporting events, news and national events and live broadcasts of sold out performances.

The Concourse is also home to a handful of great restaurants and boutique retail stores.

Absolutely mesmerising. Watching Macbeth performed by Come You Spirits at the Chatswood Concourse Theatre was an unforgettable experience. The lighting and sound design were nothing short of breathtaking haunting, precise, and perfectly in sync with the intensity of the play. Every flicker and echo deepened the tension and atmosphere.nnOne of the true highlights was the integration of a dancer into the performance. It added a visceral, embodied layer to the story, making the emotional undercurrents feel even more immediate and raw. Such a bold and beautiful choice.nnThis is the second show we’ve seen here from Come You Spirits, and once again, they’ve delivered something extraordinary. We feel so lucky to have them performing locally they never disappoint. Thank you for bringing such powerful, poetic theatre to our doorstep.nWe look forward to coming back!
Chatswood Concourse- the concert hall locates at the CBD of Chatswood. Parking is convenient, either at Westfield or its basement carpark. The stage is not big but good enough for general performance. The seats are standard and not very comfortable.nThe amenities are good and there is one small bar locates at Ground level.
So clean! First time being here and it was a good experience! Thought the inside was bigger like Capitol or opera house but it's smaller. At least it seems like we're closer to the stage :
Saw Mike Stern & Dennis Chambers here on 14 Feb 2025 as well as Robben Ford on 6 Mar 2025 at The Lounge. Fabulous intimate venue, ideal for jazz and reminiscent of a larger edition of The Basement which was the last Sydney venue I saw both Mike Stern and Robben Ford play in the mid-90s/ early 2000s Wonderful ambience, lighting and sound set the standard for a night of high quality music interplay for which these performers are world renowned.
The Concourse Theatre stage is a great venue to see a show. Has great tiered seating, so no looking through heads. Great sound and acoustics. There is lift access as well as stairs. Limited toilet facilities for the size of the venue. Friendly, helpful staff at the venue. We went to see Footloose, absolutely fabulous show.
