Located at 409 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia .nWe came to see The Footloose Musical and I was so impressed with the whole Concourse building. The architecture is amazing. So modern and eye catching. I love the small grassy area near the steps to sit down and relax and maybe enjoy a catch up with friends. The seating in the theatre was very comfortable and we had great views of the stage. The only problem I noticed is that the toilets were downstairs and at intermission there was quite a long line, especially the women’s bathroom, maybe an extra toilet block wouldn’t go astray, one on the same level as the theatre?. There is a few cafe/restaurants situated around to enjoy a meal/drink which is convenient. The staff were so helpful, very friendly and professional. There’s parking available, the entrance is on Ferguson Lane and it’s a short walk from Chatswood Metro and Railway Station . Bus stops are also very close by. I would definitely recommend a visit here. We had a wonderful time. Thumbs up!!
This used to be our favourite place to sit relax and enjoy the moment but not anymore. Kids used to sit here eat lunch, parents were bringing their toddlers for some fresh air but not anymore.Really disappointed that they removed the tree from the middle and placed this table and chairs which makes it look really ugly. Looks like nobody is sitting in the floor anymore.nGood job with making it look more artificial
Saw Frozen Broadway musical with my daughter, her first musical. Aside from the venue being great and rivalling top Sydney city venues to put on a top-notch show, from bar staff to ticket marshals, the quality of production was unreal! The quality of the singing, dancing, set, costumes, music, audiovisual and lighting was outstanding. I was blown away, actually, and I haven't ever been a huge fan of musicals. Well done on an awesome show. Would highly recommend it to any Frozen fans and musical lovers!
We came to see Frozen at the Concourse Theatre and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The theatre compliments the professionalism of the show that PACA has brought to life. The set and costumes were stunning with an amazing cast of leads backed by a fantastic orchestra. The strength in the ensemble cast lifted the show and there really wasn’t a weak point at all. The only issue is there are very few tickets left now. Shame it isn’t running for a little longer. Congratulations PACA production on a wonderful show.
The concourse chatswood is a medium small theatre, the seating was close to the stage and being in the front row the leg room and seat comfort was good.nAcoustics were good. Footloose was a fun performance to watch. Transport in getting here can be done by car car park under ground or Train with the closest station being a shortish 5min walk down the hill from chatswood station.
