Visited Margaret River region and caught up with a few clients in the area. Food was great. Portions are huge. Ordered a hamburger and chips. More than enough food for one person. All the meals I saw that was served looked good and all plates was returned empty to the kitchen. Beer was cold and staff was friendly. I can recommend them with ease as the food was great. Atmosphere was vibrant and music playing. Could sit inside or outside. Happy hour is between 5pm and 6pm. Enjoy!
Stopped in for afternoon drink and dinner, staff were friendly, food came out quick, overall really lovely service. I got the fish tacos, which were delicious and fresh although the fish wasn't overly fleshy, more batter than fish really so would love to see more fleshy pieces used. Also got the Watermelon margarita which I loved!!! My partner really enjoyed his burger too so overall really enjoyed ourselves!
Great pub food. Nothing too fancy, food at a good price point, good vibes and tasty food. The Commonpounder burger and chicken parmigiana are two favourites. Fish tacos and happy hour also gets a huge tick from us. It's our local go-to and perfect when no one wants to cook or wash up. Tony and his team do a fab job
Was staying in Saudade so just a stones throw from The Common Bistro. Since our accomodation and stunning views of the ocean decided to do takeaway from here and eat it at home while enjoying the views. Ordered mozzarella sticks, salad, the chicken Parmy, the chicken burger, Margarita pizza and the truffle, prosciutto pizza. The food was good but not totally wow, knocks your socks off, food coma type of food. The presentation and quality of the produce is good just maybe been spoilt with really tasty meals from other places. This could be as we did a takeaway. Maybe it would have been better when it was eaten fresh at the restaurant. But anyways think a 4 is fair play.
Four nights and hands down five stars for the food, service, value and location. Tried most on the menu and everything ticked the box. Empty plates every night . The American dude the manager was A grade as were the lovely girls serving. It’s been 15-years since I’ve been down this way but it won’t be long before we are back. Congrats guys.
Food are super delicious! We ordered fish tacos, mexican bowl, beef tacos, buffalo fillet & pizza and could not fault anything. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good range of drinks and we will definitely come back soon! Highly recommend Common Bistro especially if you feel like mexican food.
Had a delicious late lunch here today, the food arrived very quickly and the fish tacos were the best I've tried. We had a bit of a wait for desert but when it arrived it was inhaled by the family. The very nice server refunded our deserts due to the wait which was quite unexpected and a very nice gesture. Definitely worth a stop. They also have a little playground to keep kids entertained.
We visited on rainy Wednesday night in November and loved the buzzy vibe and the mixed crowd. It was pretty busy until 8pm but we found a table, were served quickly at the bar and food came out in good time. My partner’s burger was excellent, my fish tacos not the best I’ve had…hence one less star. Floor staff were lovely, bonus points for sunset views. Definitely worth a visit.
We chose The Common to have a family dinner to celebrate our daughters 12th bday last night & were so satisfied with the overall experience. We were there during happy hour & the sparkling wine on offer was creamy & delicious. The food was fresh, generous portions & very reasonably priced. We interacted with several staff members who were all great & in fact all of the staff seemed happy to be there, adding to the positive, relaxed vibe of the place. I asked if they could please put a candle in my daughters dessert & the guy even came out singing happy birthday on the top of his lungs, much to our daughters dismay & our delight! We are already planning our next visit there to sample more of the menu!
Wow! What can I say the food and service are awesome! Well done team!
