Awesome service! Forgot Name of manager but an absolute legend! Decent feed, good tasting food with massive meal portion size and plenty of local folk to have a yarn with. Typical country beers on tap. Could barely get in car doors after trying to consume the parmigiana.
Have enjoyed dinner here on regular work trips for the past year and always had a magnificent experience. The food is superb especially the parmi, the service is excellent and the staff are so genuine, and friendly. It's a grand country pub and a reliably great meal, well worth the visit.

The staff and the service at this pub is outstanding as are the meals, you certainly get value for money. Great place for a pub meal. It's a little old and worn on the inside but has lots of character. Worth stopping by.
Huge meal! Fish and chips, don’t eat batter so peeled it off. The fish was lovely! Partner has mixed grill and was happy with the size and flavours.

This place had only been open for a week when I tried to book a birthday dinner for my dad. I tried to call ahead to make a booking but couldn't find a valid phone number - not on Google, Facebook, Trip Advisor, Yelp or anywhere else. This is a brand new business and they hadn't even bothered to put a valid contact number on a facebook page. So we thought we'd just try our luck on the night. BAD MOVE. Upon arrival we were ignored by multiple staff, scowled at by locals and left waiting for over ten minutes. When I finally got someone's attention, I was given two menus; one for the bar and one for the restaurant but told there was no room in the restaurant and we should've called ahead the whole place was practically empty and that we could only order from the bar menu burgers only. We were trying to support a new local business and when I pleaded with them to let us order from the main menu and eat at one of the many, many empty tables in the bar area, I was point blank told no. We left and they didn't care, so we took our $240.00 meal bill to the Tavern.
It's a nice country pub with a good atmosphere. I've tried nearly every dish on the menu here and they've all been really great. Would definitely recommend.
I rated this 4 stars from my last visit but had dinner there last night after the new owners have taken over. I want be going back there again. Took around 15 minutes to get my order in. When it came to order got told the kitchen was too busy and a chicken parmie would take 30 minutes minimum. Accepted that and then 5 minutes later told no neopolitana sauce. Accepted just a chicken schnitzel and had to ask for the difference back. The schnitzel came out with a wet soggy bottom. Ate is as nothing else open. Shocking
Just an average pub style dinning area but the food we were served was the best I have ever eaten at a pub. Friendly service and amazing food. 10/10
