The Coffee Club - Torquay

Great Coffee with ambient setting. Great Vibes and awesome staff. Also has outdoor seating for the warm days.Definitely recommend visiting this place.

Had one too many poor experiences here. The coffee is always ordinary much better options in Torquay. The food is hit and miss, can be good but sometimes I don’t think they can be bothered.

I arrived from local resort at twenty past 8 stood inside for a while then I heard the guy tell the lady infront of us, to come back later. Shame I had the whole family hungry website and building said open from 8am? Luckly lots of great cafes nearby but still a bummer I'd promised rainbow pancakes. Won't bother again.

Good coffee, yes Breakfast fail! Big fail. Refused to give me an order off the menu. Two pieces of sourdough bread and 2 eggs on the side Said I had to order the eggs on toast in the menu. This was a rule made up by the owner. So for $2 more i got this. I piece of toast cut in half and 2 eggs. Illegal, cheapskate behaviour. Totally pathetic. Owner overseas so couldn't complain directly to him. Notice he hasn't replied to any criticism in any review. Guess he doesn't care.

Can't say i was satisfied with my experience at the coffee club. I firstly ordered a Club Sandwich, to which it was cold and the lettuce seemed old and soggy. When ordering the man behind the counter which i assume was a manager, seemed as though he was still learning which i understood as learning does take time, however, he was speaking in a rude and passive aggressive manner to which made not only me, but also his employees feel uncomfortable and on edge. I feel as though this isn't a good atmosphere in which you would like your customers or staff to be in. Having been my first time at the coffee club torquay, i was saddened by the experience i had, especially seeing the younger staff being made to feel belittled.

The place has improved in quality since my last visit. Coffee and food taste great! New owners are very pleasant and have given good service with smile on their faces. The staff also look happier than before.

It was really dirty outside food on the ground, dirty tables, staff not really friendly. Food was very average, looked like my mushrooms had been in the bottom of the fridge for covid all dried up. I find this disturbing especially after a pandemic and loads of business closing their doors. Really need to lift your game. And clean your outdoor area.

Food ok, service bit lacking 2 order items mixed up, dining area needs a clean. Disappointed vs franchise experience elsewhere, however left with our tummies full.

Food was nice there were 2 managers one female and male the male one was very helpful and kind .. female was nice but may have been having an off day as she wasn't too helpfu but that's ok all worked out in the end but On to food and coffee - amazing loved it all Thank you

We received great customer service with a smile. We ordered almond milk iced coffees, latte and latte with syrup. All were great. I love the caption on the cups too!
