I have been to a few different coffee clubs before, but I went to the one in stones corner last night for dinner and had one of my worst dining experiences. We had made a booking and confirmed earlier in the day that the book was at a time when the kitchen was open etc etc. We arrived and were treated very rudely for wanting to have dinner at the horrifyingly late time of 7:15 we had actually booked in for 7:30 and throughout our meal the waitress constantly glared at us and tried to hurry us along. We had our food by 7:40 and ate quickly and left. It was not a pleasant dining experience. The food was ok, but if I going to pay to sit down I would like to be allowed to relax and enjoy me meal and not feel like I have to eat it as quickly as possible. If you want a coffee club, go to a different location.
Coffee club Stones has been there forever...always great staff and good , fresh, hearty food. And it's especially good if you have food intolerances. Love that the menu tells you how many kj you're consuming and if it's vego or gluten free etc... I used to sing there many years ago with a duo and John the owner was always kind and generous and very present and 'hands on' in as an owner :rubbing around asking us how we were?, did we want anything?, chatting with customers, staff etc.... This particular cafe in Stones has some great spaces inside and out. Would be great for functions and or live music!
The service was good. The staff were friendly and attentive. The outdoor area out the back is really peaceful, with living plants in a garden complete with a running water fountain. The food was good and arrived quickly.
Sad really used to be quite good. Won't be back. Coffee was ordinary but service usually saves a coffee club. Not today. Wait staff were good but were under pressure to give nothing to a group of 12. The manager was appalling. Very bad reflection on the coffee club cool culture.
Enjoyed the service here. Wasn't over done but felt valued. The food is always nice and great portions.
Just had lunch. Eggs Benedict acceptable but couldn't bite through the Philly steak. Toughest piece of meat I've ever experienced

The food was good. The attitude left much to be desired. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Overall not a good experience.
When they were open, The service was great. Friendly Staff members. It was a great place for small group meetings.
It's still a Coffee Club, but in a handy little spot. Just me supporting local business with a great service. Enjoy
