Today’s visit was horrible. Waited over an hour to be told that my meal was unavailable, and then was served a burnt replacement meal. The other two meals were incorrectly made, as well as one of the drinks. Cutlery was not served to the table and had to be retrieved. Not happy with this service at all.

Went for breakfast at 10:00 6/10/24.nnOrdered breakfast and it took 50 minutes to arrive and was average for the price. Coffee club was about 1/4 full at the time so not busy enough that I would have expected almost an hours wait.nnFood was sub par, I got a big breakfast for $26 which had 6 mushroom slices, 1 spinach leaf , 1 rasher of bacon, 2 chipolatas, 1 piece of bread cut in half to look like 2 bits and 2 eggs.nnBacon wasn’t cooked, was obviously microwaved as was lukewarm and showed no cooking indications on the flesh. Eggs were runny when requested to be hard poached. Along side this they were the size of quail eggs. My “smashed avo” was a small bowl which contained about the size of 1tsp.nnMy wife ordered the fritter with no spinach and hard eggs, which arrived with spinach and runny eggs. It was also $21 which was absurdly overpriced for what she received.nnI believe a lot of venues provide way too much food, but in this instance the food was very subpar and absurdly overpriced for the quality and quantity of the meal we received and we won’t be eating at coffee club again. At least not unless something changes.nnThe staff at the Sugarland venue were lovely, polite and inviting, as always. However the low rating was for the amount of time it took for the food to arrive given the fact that Coffee Club appeared to only have 1/4 the capacity. I’m happy to wait but this was not busy enough for 50 minutes wait and the way the food arrived.nnIn summary; Food was sub par and not worth the price it cost. Wait times were abysmal given the amount of people waiting. However coffee was nice.

Both cakes were old and stale, my cake had plastic piece in icing, the coffees were very nice though.

The lady at the counter had no idea what she was doing. Gave my order 5 times and she still couldn't get it right. Wasn't told from the getgo that food would be a 20 minute wait. We had been sitting there for half an hour already and the 10 people that were in front of us still hadn't received their food. There was food sitting on the pass that hadn't gone out and had been sitting there for 10 minutes which was sent back. I got a pot of tea and the cup was dirty and I had to ask for a teaspoon. In the end we couldn't wait any longer so asked for a refund which they didn't refuse. Apparently the chef was running late and the other staff members didn't know how to cook any of the food on the menu.
