A little underwhelmed with the ambience of the place, we sat down at a rather sticky table. We ordered from a less than enthusiastic lady, but then the food quickly made its way to the table and my oh my it was amazing. This place could rival any top notch Melbourne Curry Bar. The food was delicious. If you want to experience a blow your mind vindaloo ask for it hot! WOWSER!nIt was expensive but worth it.
Compact cosy dining. The place itself presents very average.nnFood looked good and I thought they tasted like most other Indian restaurants as well. However not too salty, which I liked most.nnI thought the place were very pricey! $20 for even just a veggie dish or $9 for rice. Not the best value for money. Plus average set up was not inviting. That's why 3 stars.nnWe would not be trying again. Nonetheless, if you are in town and don't mind spending the money in a tight space, it might be a place for you.
Back to back visit in this restaurant and totally satisfied just amazing the onion Bhaji & Tandoori Mushroom was spot on The Mixed Veg Curry which i asked for it to be spicy and hot which I love Thank you for your service and keep up a good worknnI Strongly recommended this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experiencennI will definitely return.
A family dinner out this week while staying at Inverloch. Food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend and will be back. 1 star off because it felt a bit like a box inside but not horrible at all.
Butter chicken is quite nice and not too sweet. The beef vindaloo, medium spiciness, is still quite mild and didn't seem to have much flavour. We ordered a large coconut rice and a small plain basmati rice, but they both seemed to be the same size container. Friendly service but terribly overpriced. Would've given more stars otherwise.
