Came here for a staycation with the kids and they loved the pool! The view from the rooftop was great. The room was comfortable and had all we needed - it would have been nice to be able to watch on-demand TV though, either on the TV or by connecting a phone, but there is free wifi which was a plus. We went to Box Hill Central for dinner, only a short walk away. Check out at 11am meant we could use the pool in the morning too.
The people in the reception are very nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, bed was very comfy. Location is fantastic - just across the shopping mall. We really enjoyed our stay. The only concern we had was parking. We were only able to park at the hotel carpark the next morning as it was full on our first night. Other than that, we had an amazing time. highly recommend!
Very well located hotel - the airport shuttle bus stops a few minutes walk from the hotel! The staff were efficient and friendly. The room was comfortable, an excellent size and had a very handy kitchenette. Lovely bathroom amenities.nI was very pleased with this hotel. Oodles of eating options within 5 minutes walk too.
The Chen offers an ideal location—just a 4-minute walk to Box Hill Station and Box Hill Central, yet far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. For business travelers, adding a desk monitor would be a great touch, and a full-length mirror in the room would enhance convenience. The partnership with Anytime Fitness Box Hill for gym access is a fantastic perk. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The team at The Chen is exceptionally helpful, which truly elevates the experience.
The hotel is a perfect place to stay for leisure but also if you need the hospital. Beautiful ambience throughout, including our hotel room and the bed and pillows were so comfy. The staff were so lovely and very accommodating and compassionate.
