We had such a lovely staycation at The Chen Melbourne – Art Series! nnThe hotel was perfect for a relaxing little family getaway. The location was very accessible, making it easy for us to get around and enjoy Melbourne. Most importantly, it was baby-friendly, which made our stay so much more comfortable and stress-free with our little one. nnThe room was comfortable, the overall atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. We really enjoyed having some quality family time without needing to travel too far.nnA beautiful place for a staycation, especially for families with a baby. We would definitely stay here again!
When we arrived at the Chen box hill, my son and i said wow. A very impressive building and location. The lady at reception who greeted us was extremely helpful and explained everything we needed to know.nThe room sizes were perfect -facing the sun rise.nThe room cleanliness was 10 out of 10 and the bed was very comfortable.nWhat else could a person want?nWe are both from rural victoria and it made our stay in melbourne all the more special staying in lovely accommodation like this.nAll i have left to say is thankyou for making our stay very pleasent.
Decent experience which could have been better considering it’s a 4-star hotel. The service at the reception was not very helpful since the car park direction was not very clear and didn’t get any positive vibe from the front staff. The rooms were decent and parking pricing is also genuinely cheap considering other options. Would really appreciate if the front staff can be more friendly and helpful to the guests.
Stayed here for business, spacious rooms with great amenities and wonderful staff who were helpful at every turn. Parking is easy to access and I had no issue getting a space underground while I was there midweek. Location is excellent, Great range of restaurants and cafes within walking distance and close to public transport. My favourite thing was the sparkling water dispenser available for guests!
Initially gave a one-star review because I was quite frustrated with the lack of response regarding my early check-in request despite calling a few times and sending an email. However, I’m changing it to 5 stars after my actual stay because it would be unfair to leave it at one star when I genuinely had a great experience.nnThe check-in and check-out process was smooth, the room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the customer service was excellent. Special mention to Arniel, who provided such warm, friendly, and attentive service throughout our stay.nnI’ll definitely be coming back. The only area I’d suggest improving is having a smoother and clearer process for handling enquiries about early check-in, as getting an answer beforehand was quite difficult. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this place!
